Literally had no idea that we're due to play Bradford at home in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday. Despite the competition, it could well be one to turn out for, one way or another. If what we're led to believe is true (and I still think there must be more to it) EDT are either prepared to write off £7.5m or they aren't. Ken is either prepared to stop being a cunt or he isn't. That's the impasse we're told. Give them a week, a month, a year and that's still the decision that needs to be made. No benefit in dragging it out. My worry with the well meaning suggestion of raising additional money to get this over the line is that a certain rotund perspiring character would simply add that sum onto his his ransom demand, sorry I mean memorandum. I feel timing isn't on our side, no income for 4 weeks unless they sell STs which won't happen. Last Saturday really was the last chance to prove the club could be saved. Now, which millionaire should I just hand my money over to? Ken Anderson or Michael James? Or maybe neither. Plenty of players have been made into millionaires over the past 20 years with money from our accumulated pockets. We chose to hand it over. Perhaps they can choose to hand a bit back. Kevin Davies can be 1st in the queue.

Bolton MPs need to make it clear that should that happen they will press for a full enquiry, they need to be asking the minister responsible for assurances that the authorities will be on the case. Let's face it, no way, even when things are as perilous as they currently are for the club, we're getting 25k on. People don't seem to realise that it's partly the fault of the stay-away thousands who helped to create this situation. You can't put the blame at any single one of the stay away supporters. No one can blame any supporter who didn't want to pay to watch the shit, can't be arsed, going through the motions football from half of the team last season. even people who had paid for Season Tickets upfront couldn't be arsed to turn up for a lot of games. The blaming the fans thing is doing my head in. The blame for this situation belongs firmly in the boardroom at BWFC and the questionable decisions taken there over an extended period of time. Burndens Bogs
What can't be underestimated here is the extreme twatishness of the bloke holding up the deal, he's quite prepared see us go to the wall if he doesn't get his own way.

Whilst I dislike the man with a vengeance for what he's done, do we know this for a fact yet or is it all hearsay and rumour. He did say (via talksport) that it is not him holding up the deal anymore. (Although you can read into that he's stated the clause he wants and by the others not accepting it, they are holding up the deal in his eyes)

If what Casino and others have said about everything being agreed on Friday, and then Dickhead's Solicitor suddenly threw in a grenade, it comes back to Tank Top boy. His Solicitor doesn't make additional demands without having his strings pulled by his Paymaster.
barrycowdrill
When you actually step away from our situation and our eternal blind hope and listen to the radio shows, read the articles etc it’s absolutely frightening The impact of a relatively small club like Bury going, obviously the staff. The fans, the community but more than that, English football. Everyone is amazed and shocked this has happened & puts our plight slap bang in to perspective Today, probably for the first time during this nightmare I have contemplated life and the impact of not having Bolton wanderers Football Club around. It’s fucking terrifying
L/H White
Nixon stil bangign on about this manchster guy wanting hotel and club apparently proof of funds were shown to hotel admin, around 33 mil? has this been mentioned already, i'm lost
Wanderlust
Interesting interview with Tory MP Damian Collins (and Chair of the sports committee) on Radio 5 Live at about 10.40 this morning who called for better vetting and regulation for club owners. He said that the Premier League AND the Conference are better regulated than the EFL in this respect and called for independent regulation. Not a bad idea IMO. Wasn't Bassini in charge of Watford when they were in the Premier League ? If so, that kind of ruins that debate. I'm sure several other Premier League clubs have also been under the microscope regarding the club owners actions over the last few years.
Burndens Bogs
Imo FV fully deserve the club +hotel, if they can get the deal over the line. The last thing we need is a late bidder complicating things - time is of the essence for us.

Not true. It's been known there are 2 interested for hotel. Nixon's claim is that club admins rejected the other bidder because FV are preferred and they want them to complete, so they're trying to get the hotel deal done first. Whether it's true or not is for you to decide, but he's not said they're in for the club yet, but they want it if they can get hotel.
