Johnnyrotten
If for arguments sake we end up with relatively rich owners, are we still not hamstrung by 1. Likely transfer embargo for the season and 2. Financial Fair Play? To be honest as long as we have a club to support and decent owners I will be happy ompetitive, but some are talking about signing 'good' players when I'm assuming we are tied to the embargo and FFP, like everyone else in Div 1? Hence the need to keep as many of our current half decent players as possible.
Tommy Banks
Apparently league 1 is different than the championship, Blackburn lost approximately£16m during there stay

barrycowdrill
If new owners have a bit of clout and PP has gone I’d anticipate we’d start on similar ST numbers to last year. Wave of positivity and all that start off well, more come through the door. Continue to get beat, people fuck it off. Doesn’t matter what level your at. Escobarp
There is zero arguing the 12 point deduction. Well there is but it would be futile. Very dangerous precedent to be setting indeed and thus we won’t get any leeway IMO
Andy Gee
Isn't the transfer embargo just linked to admin? I know other clubs that have been in admin are then allowed to sign players as soon as they exit admin.
MalcolmW
The fly in the ointment with Chinese investment is the length of time it can take to get authorisation to move the money out of China.

Precisely, 20-25 million whatever it is they end up paying (that’s if they buy ) that’s peanuts for these guys. Bearing in mind they’ll own a hotel, a football club, a car park ripe for development and other assets that the club own. Matthew1234
No point getting hopes up on this one. Administrators will do a deal with whoever they think is best placed to take us forward in a stable manner. Whether that be Chinese money, FV or someone totally unknown at this stage, one thing the last few months has shown is that this is dragging and dragging. Enjoy the weather, and what will be will be with this one. Not worth the thought anymore IMO

Administrators always have favourites, especially depending upon who's appointed them. The Chinese could bid an extra 5m but it wouldn't matter if, say, key creditors preferred a deal with someone like FV
