Sent a text to a mate who is a senior Judge at the court, he hasn't responded as yet but suspect he is either in chambers or involved elsewhere If you do hear anything please update us all Even though it says it is being held in public I was told the judge could elect to hold it in private If he felt it appropriate to do so . If it is the Bassini case suppose we might get an update of sorts later pm Don't imagine it will be sorted fully today though
Marc505 496
My source at court confirms it's nowt to do with any names that interest us. *Got them on alert to let me know if Wanderers or any relevant names pop up urgently this afternoon. bwfcfan5 486
I'm taking the fact the game is on as a good sign that admins and league are confident this can be got rid of and sale can go ahead. If EFL felt that was in doubt they'd surely have canned the game as they have been for Bury.

Mannyroader 28
I think Debbie Jevans, new EFL boss, and Sharon Brittan have a sisterhood thing going on. DJ is showing support for the club that we might not have had with a bloke in charge. Also, men generally are on the back foot when dealing with a female boss. It takes them out of their comfort zone. Could be an asset for the club in the future.

DomRepWanderer 178
@MarcIles Not expecting any announcement on the hotel tonight. The administrators are not overly concerned with the Bassini litigation. They expect to select "one or two" bidders and move towards an SPA and completion soon. FV have now sorted their side of things, I understand

When I worked it was mostly in the coal and then construction industries and they were both male bastions. It was harder for women to get on than men, still is I believe. Just look at the boardrooms of any major company and you will see them dominated by men. Government has had to pass legislation to effect an improvement. Nowhere have I said that I agree with the situation. I can only think of 2 women with prominent roles in the mens game. Karren Brady and a former chairwoman at Tranmere, whose name I forget. I don't count Cherie Lunghi ( The Manageress). When I worked in construction I had 2 women bosses and they both moved on because they felt they had hit the glass ceiling. They went into banking and education. Back on topic, I wish Sharron Brittan all the best and I look forward to hearing her plans for the club and hotel. A fresh perspective might be what is needed. People need to remember that until the deal is completed she is subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement.

No need for the vulgarity, you are better than that, many of my detractors clearly aren't. Mr Custard knows his stuff even if he isn't the sites poster boy. And I was taught manners cost nothing.
