One was the Basran group and the other were people Howard was in touch with and whose intentions seemed to be known to Howard. Lets call them the Rand group. On the basis of Howard's posts, it seemed that the Rand group's intentions were to wait for the court to order a winding up and then step in during the next five working days with some deal in which unsecured creditors would have to compromise on the amounts owed to them. However when it came up in court a very different proposition came forward with a new mystery bidder, that Howard seems to know little about, requesting and getting an adjournment with an intention to pay off everyone one in full. Have I missed something? Chris, I suggested that the other group (or in fact other bidders) would’ve possibly waited until the liquidation order so as to secure a better deal. What became evident was that KA would simply let the club be liquidated, he wasn’t preparing to challenge the order. Without the backstop of being able to call in the shares they would be unable to prevent this occurring. To mitigate this issue they showed their hand which forced the extension in court and gave them the backstop of share redemption. You are truly a sad little man.
