Well you must be because I'm the one that simply gave my opinion of liking a STORY I read and haven't quoted any facts whatsoever, so what have I to be wrong about?

Now enough of this.

Block me, or I'll block you, as this as gone on long enough over a simple opinion that I liked the narrative (story) Howard gave which you have decided to argue the toss over because you have some childish bee in your bonnet over him.

So in the spirit of all good stories endings - everyone lived happily ever after.

THE END

Sluffy seems to have an uncanny knack of fitting the word “ narrative” into every post.

When I used to wait for the free gates open at Burnden as a nipper to watch Tiger Taylor and JB, I would have never thought that I would be reading about liquidation or administration. Nor would I have thought we would be taken over by a mad Italian. Is it naïve of me to think that this could be a hell of a ride.

This man is a loon can’t see this ending well.

I’m all for a clean slate at the start but what sensible and real business person doesn’t know that when they’ve just bought it?

And even if they’re mental enough not to, who admits it?

Fucking weird

Not a Bolton fan, I'm actually a Rugby Union fan

Did some work at the stadium regarding the financial aspects of the sale, initially for another interested party then Mr Bassini used our services instead of having to hire another company to start all over again.

I guess if I was to support a football team it would be Bolton, mainly because of the staff at the stadium being so welcoming and friendly and having a genuine passion for the club. I genuinely hope you do well in the future

This is the most positive post on this thread, this proves BWFC is far from bankrupt, irrespective of who owns it, with staff like that and supporters like us our day will come again

BWFC have plenty saleable assets

Any prospective owner knows this

Expect to see land development, including the car parks, some commercial building and houses

There's also maybe some land that the govt/council need to build a relief road

Plenty opportunities to recoup the investment

Think the hotel will be sold as well

Wonder if the mad Italian Bassini will bring in an Italian Manager? I bet he'll bring in Paulo Di Canio as our next manager and we'll play Joey Barton's Fleetwood on the first day of the season in League 1, that could only happen at Bolton.

He reminds me of one of those fake churchill's from a WW2 movie who has to pretend to be in charge as a decoy for the assassins whilst the real one is off to Yalta.

'Laurence, here's 50 grand. Pretend to be the chairman whilst Thaksin and I sort out the money.'

I sound more Italian than this fella. More likely to get Ian Holloway.

The hotel will be the main attraction in Bassini's anyone's eyes

Well its a good luck from me, hope others reserve judgement and give him time

Got to be honest though - I'd have taken Abu Hamza before the ST got their mitts on it

I will give Bassini a chance fans will be sceptical until he does something like pay the outstanding wages but let him get in first I am quite sure he has some idea of what the debt is we wanted Ken out we got it I am not paying any attention to the three year plan I expect us in three years to be a mid table championship side if we do better then great but let’s get the little things done first like sky tv back on the concourse digital advertising boards working the pink rose painted red again outside the stadium those are little things that put right show the right things are happening

I think this could be the real deal, Richards and Williams on board gives it a serious edge. Wouldn't be surprised if big Sam comes in has director of football. Next manager I'm not too sure about other than after the forest game parky will be getting his p45.

If the club still own the land by the cop shop and the arena then I'd imagine some development on there would be money raiser number one.
