Missing the point by a mile

It's not that roger did wrong, it's that a full investigation was carried out and it was decided he should carry on in his co opted role

At best, their judgement is fcuked up, at worst, it's as I said, a cosy little club

As for Anderson, if they had ever come up with a credible alternative, I'd have been all over it

But they didn't

No high net worths, no nothing

But if only Rigsby, Smiffy and Simple Simon had been gven the chance they'd have sorted it all, wouldn't they, and paid the players wages ouf of their own pockets? They are imo unrealistic dreamers with some unsavoury tendencies not unlike many journos and some of the elected and unelected representatives of Bolton.

Still waiting for Wullie. He said he understood 'the business side'. I'm not convinced he did.

The only judgement that had to be made was is ken good for BWFC?  They made that judgement and got it right.

If Anderson had sold last summer they would've got it wrong

More to the point, they have never once suggested a viable alternative

He didn’t sell though, and how do you know FV were not introduced to BWFC by the Trust?

Because you would've told us all about it

Suppose you could be reet, bet Michael James had never heard of us but Terry, rog and Mags pulled it all together

FV entered negotiations before MJ joined their consortium. Or did you miss that?

No

And I didn't miss the fact they couldn't do the deal without him

Nor that if you're getting together HNW you would start with MJ

And the fact a senior member of the trust wants warby and James out of the club

Seriously, do you think if the trust were party to this deal they wouldn't be screaming it from the rooftops

Be honest

I wouldn't bother waiting for me Chris, you can find someone else to compare your knowledge with.

Not if they’d also signed an NDA.

Some very interesting selection of words in that article.

Have iles and Bolton News finally learnt there lesson from Anderson’s days and simply don’t publish unchecked stories. Which turn out to be false.

or

Does the story not fit there agenda?

The main problem regarding the finances was that Eddie Davies gambled the clubs sky money and lost. He fucked it off sharpish as soon as the Sky parachute money stopped and left the club heading to Div 3 with no tv revenue.

Yup, I agree with this one.

That's only because you can't come up with terms like the beeno or simple Simon or any other childish nicknames to explain your point

So are you saying the ST are the white knights who introduced FV to the club then watched in horror as their new bete noire Michael James jumped on board with Team Basran!

I bet their faces were a picture if that really did happen!

Fwiw I doubt very much if FV didn't have James on board from the very beginning, as they would have had to sounded out the secured creditors in advance of everything to see what their positions were and if James wasn't going to be part of their syndicate they would have had to find an additional £5.5m to their war chest, to cover his secured creditor status being settled in order that they could bring the club out of Administration - particularly if the rumours of them not having much financial backing up to that point being true.

As for the ST don't you think it somewhat strange that James, Warburton and the Eddie Davies family clearly don't want anything to do with them?  Don't you think it somewhat strange also that a ST Board member called them all out in public (and clearly not 'corrected' by his colleagues at the time - implying a common view across the Board and lack of desire of them to keep it under wraps)?

I do.

If so have you ever wondered why they are opposing each other and not working together?

Also do you think they are representing all the Wanderers fans with their views and do you think they are able to work together with the clubs new owners - particularly if it turns out as seems likely Michael James will be one of them?

After all it is their two very reasons for being as stated by themselves...

What untruths were there regarding Anderson? I can’t recall them

Mounts, from your many posts on this forum you come across as a decent bloke & a passionate, loyal BWFC fan. This being the case I really can't fathom your staunch defence of a flawed if not fundamentally undemocratic & corrupt ST.... especially given your stance on the EU referendum vote.

For me A ST yes please, this ST no thank you sir. Please don't suggest trying to change it from within because these self elected & self appeasing lot have no interest in representing your average Bolton fan. The only way for most Bolton fans would be a new & accountable representative body.

Must admit I walked out of the last ST meeting which was billed as an important event .No Brett Warburton no Michael James just the important stake holders Bolton at home the MP for Bolton South East & a few I cant remember .Rigby gave us a narrative which made Dean Holsworth sound like a victim no mention of the one million he trousered. It was like a parrallel universe .I' d already fucked off before the slagging  of the Davies family & others .Surreal , these people are different to us they have an agenda.

What's their 'agenda'?

It seems a pretty straightforward piece to me. Iles is as anxious as all of us for things to be resolved. I'm happy to do as he suggests, sit tight and wait without wanting a running commentary.

Aye I’ve never understood the suspicion on here they are him/them are bringing the club down.

I agree just want to hear it’s done when it is. Not rumours before or Itk stuff. His stance is correct
