Take Over

With over 2000 away capacity at Wycombe, I can't see there being any problem everyone getting in. If ST's haven't been sorted in time, they could have old skool pay on the gate.

Looking at the fixtures, Lincoln at the end of October could be the first sell out. Surely we'll be organised by then.

Are we sure there is anything to boycott as yet?

If we are talking Top Trumps here I saw my first game 1963 and had season ticket since 1968. and intend having one until my health prevents me, no matter who our manager is.

What would happen if everyone shared your viewpoint and NO bugger turned up - We would no longer have a club to debate the merits of a manager

I'm boycotting because we don't have enough sexy throw ins........but definitely not because we're facing an extremely tough season probably finishing  with another relegation, ooh no, no way, definitely not.

I'll be back when we're winning again we have more sexy throw ins.

If normal processes apply, Wycombe match tickets should be on sale to away season ticket holders by Sunday 14th July, ST holders Monday 15th. That's prity much a week away. Due to the on going takeover I'm hoping we can use last season's CRN's to order tickets.... Or is it a case they can't sell the tickets until they know the game will be going ahead?

I'm hoping there's news on Monday because the longer this goes on the more worrying it's becoming! There's loads of us already shelled out for travel....

I'm getting fed up of flushing money down the toilet in the expectation things will be sorted ! I've heard ST prices are already agreed, just awaiting takeover to move forward for it to be published, I hope away ticket sales have been thought about too, this week looks like being a mad dash! & still without a playing squad

Do these away season tickets actually exists?

It's an amusing post - genuinely - but if you're referring to my comment a couple of days ago re the crap pointless throw ins under Allardyce you're barking up the wrong tree. I haven't missed a home league game since 1980 and don't have any immediate plans to change that. But it won't stop me commenting on the good and bad of any era in the last 40 years. Its not all black & white to me, there is an in between which means that during the worst season in memory, under the worst manager, I stilI enjoyed snippets of it just like I despised bits of the BSA era.

Well they have done for a few years now! If I remember correctly, last year you paid something like £30. This meant you automatically got an away ticket, it was posted out to you & you were automatically debited the cost for it from your debit card. You could cancel up to about 5 games iirc

Its not a competition thats my point. Do what you gotta do. I cant take the misery of Parky any more. Might even buy a season ticket to help the club but wont be using it until the manager changes. Just no joy in it anymore

How on earth can you have so little going on that you don’t miss a home game in 40 years. I’m not judging, just seems tough going. You’d expect to be ill or at a wedding in that time if nothing else.

I already know I’m missing 5 home games next season already

I agree it's wierd, but I have managed to work round family commitments and holidays and have also dragged myself to games when I should have been ill in bed. Holidays are arranged after mid June when the fixtures are out, it's an easy routine. Bottom line is if bolton are at home I would be miserable company if I wasn't there so there's nothing to be gained by missing it. I'm a part-timer, a good mate who lives in Leyland never misses a spurs home or away game in UK or abroad and spends 5 times what I do on his passion.

Certainly matches are more missable under Parkinson
