Anybody buying a season ticket, if and when they become available, is a fucking mentalist

Fuckadooleddoo. I’m a mentalist. Once in never out. It’s passion not fashion and all that shit.

As Brian Potter said.

Bigger, better, faster, stronger, rising out of the ashes. A superclub, a King of clubs only this time we'll have it all.!!!!

Cant wait.

Are people really putting all what’s happing now solely down to Ken Anderson?

fuck me sideways

I can believe he will be angling for as much as he can get

If I was in for millions, I would too

Dunno much about this, but I'd guess any credit card company would have to authorise BWFCFV to receive funds

Is that likely within 2 weeks?

I think its cash, cash, cash

It’s not the credit card company as such, more the card processors - the likes of Verifone take a good few weeks to set up with a new company because of fears of money laundering and the like. Best hope is that they already put that in place in January but it’s unlikely. Same is likely to apply to Direct Debits as well unless V12 fancied taking the risk (Zebra have gone bump who the club have used previously).

Ahhh

I was meaning if they are concerned we will be wanting our money back if it goes tits up by Christmas, would they not be careful about getting involved?

I’ve heard season tickets will be 12% cheaper than last season and DD will be taken on the 26th.

ITK (Tomski)

Other half’s mate has told her that she’s got a pending Direct Debit payment for the 26th and at a similar discount based on one less payment. I’d be surprised the banks would be happy to take the risk and process it though.

It would be the card processors who would take that risk and would be culpable for any reclaims so it wouldn’t even get to the stage of being able to make the payment.

Tbh, if they stuck em on sale Monday, I'd buy one in a heartbeat

They need my 700 quid more than I do

As long as they take by DD that’s fine by me I don’t care what happens this season just to be there for Coventry and watching eleven players in a white shirt would be fine with me

What’s the craic with that if we started the season but didn’t finish it? I normally pay in full on credit card for our three season tickets and would rather do so again so that the club has the cash flow, but the direct debit thing makes sense to me to get some money back if the worst happened.

Make a claim under Section 75 of the consumer credit act. There are template claim letters on Which, Martin Lewis references it a lot too.

There is a recent article in the Nottingham Post advising Notts County fans to buy theirs on credit cards.

Edit - just checked with my Bradford mate.[

20/07, 18:09] a Mike, Did I imagine it or did you claim a season ticket refund through credit card law protection when Bradford had an insolvency event. (Asking for a friend 😗)

[20/07, 18:13] Mike Taylor: I personally didn’t but knew people who did, I voted with 800 others for the CVA as we were collectively a major creditor at the time but I knew some who claimed the cc refund (approx £3k for a 25 year ticket) before exiting admin and into a new company or however it works...

If we still have a club I'll be getting a season ticket again. Anyone calling themselves a Bolton fan for the last few years who could attend and can afford to buy tickets but doesn't (and doesn't contribute financially in some other way) can kiss my arse.

I can fully understand anybody fucking us off right now.

I'm of the opinion, and I know I'd take pelters from some, that if we are still around in any state to play that game against Coventry that it should be 20k+

We'd never have got closer to disappearing. You see so much emotion and so much reminiscing and so much fear about our future online that you'd think our first home game would be a huge celebration of still being Bolton Wanderers. I know this won't be the case though.

Outsiders looking in, seeing that ground virtually dead v Coventry apart from their sold out away end, you'd be thinking "do they really care or not?"

I was doubtful to buy a season ticket if Parky had been in charge for this coming season, but given our current perilous financial situation, this is now the time for us Bolton fans to show our support and back the club with purchasing season tickets, no time for jumping ship at this moment in time.

They sold 25-year season tickets?

Anyway, I'm also in.

Not a Parkinson fan like everyone else but you have to give him credit for trying to hold it together and not jacking also not been paid for 5 months

Nixon (I know) seems pretty confident that if the FV deal goes tits up, Fawaz is standing by with his bid, don't know how long that would take to complete though.

Id take him now over FV. Couldn’t give a toss about his record at Forest at least he’s some money.
