sorry, I didn't mean to sound arrogant- I know I was vague, but I meant that everything was in place up to around this point... NewBWFC aren't just gonna come along and be in the conference

I didn't mean you, I meant in general, people thinking we'll just drop into a league with Chorley or whoever.

a lot of folk seem to have this romantic idealism that a phoenix will rise from the ashes, be made up of local lads in pristine white shirts, play dazzling football and bask in glorious sun...

far, far from it

I think if Scotland wasn't such a one horsed race, Rangers II would still be playing Stranraer

Well if it gets to that how many people would actually bother if it’s not the club we support now and some new entirety called Bolton town or what ever .Would  follow bwfc but nothing else

that's where I think I'm at... and I don't want to think of it any further

With the amount of infighting and arguing over every last detail? It'd take till about 2030 to start.

It’ll be reet.

People have too much money to lose for us to go bump. Someone will snap us up when there’s no more time to negotiate.

We’ll head in to league one with a new owner and Nobby Nolan leading us to glory!

Spot on, if you take away the glory bit

Folk will believe Howard or they won't

He all but predicted this latest development

And if you now look back through his posts, you'll probably find some speculation but he's on the money far more times than anybody else

Read that when they were in the third division they still had the second highest wage bill in Scotland

And there are more than a couple of occasions where he has highlighted the ‘other’ buyer, dealing directly with Moonshift.

I’m reading that as “Basran might be the name in the press but there’s a more genuine bid that’s going under the radar (Stelios?) and waiting in the wings.”

Apologies if I’ve completely misread your comments Howard.

They also had recognised international footballers TUPEd across. Clayton's upset there's no crisps and he has to wear his big brother's boots. Any correlation between our potential destiny and Rangers end with the number of lost pissed up loyalists.

That’s fine. But you’re from a position of knowing who he is Casino, through a PM.

Until I know further, regarding his background and motives, I’ll reserve judgement

Understood them entirely, remember, money talks whereas wealth whispers

Genuine question, would clubs want a new bwfc rattling around with them?

Potential for a new club to rip up lower leagues and distort natural progression of other teams.

Would they actually be happy to be away from the potential hassle of hosting an unknown quantity, that could result from a comparative Goliath coming to town.

Didn’t pay NI contributions I believe.

Partly right. They had set up an employee benefit Trust which at the time was a legal tax avoidance loophole.

HMRC and the government closed the loophole and went after anyone who had used this method of tax avoidance.

They then became liable for all the PAYE and NI that would have been due on the monies held in trust

Just in respect of the poster who said “too many people have too much money to lose”.....

Whilst people will lose money, it absolutely will not be anybody who has the financial means to the save the club.

The assets that would be sold are worth more than the value of the secured debt (PBP, Ken/Moonshift, Warbs) therefore they would receive in full.

It’s the residual creditors who take an equal share (pence in the £) that lose out.

The only saving grace is that under liquidation Ken would not get anything, unless he did a deal with Moonshift to pay back less.
