So it is in his interest to sell asap, as I am not sure exactly what the agreement was when he borrowed the money, he could conceivably lose control of the club for example, but we don't know what they agreed. From what we know (or think we know) the loan is to KA personally, secured against his shares, and due to be repaid next month. Which is why I wouldn’t rule out this 2nd party at this stage if indeed as I said above the Davies’ are involved in the 2nd lot, the £5m being used as a tool ie; not calling that in but offsetting it against the cost to buy the club from Ken it does make the offer attractive that being said the current front runners have obviously factored that in to their bid and will no doubt have provided some assurances to the creditors they will get their monies when due.. either way the debt gets settled and off KA swans without having to find it / re negotiate it himself the more I think about it, the more this timeframe suits Ken. I suppose the answer is how cut price? Admin doesn't really help - we're not tied up in loads of onerous contracts and most of the debt is secured against assets. The cost to buy the club pre-admin and during admin doesn't much change unless secured creditors agree to accept a reduced amount and / or (significantly) extended terms. They could just as easily not, in which case we're liquidated and the assets sold off. It doesn't help with ongoing running costs unless we cancel contracts with our cheap, hapless players and replace with cheaper even more hapless players. And Ken ultimately gets nowt. Any sale now is better for Ken (assuming there's at least enough to clear his debt with Moonshift plus 'a bit'), better for the club (massively), and likely fairly neutral for any potential buyer.
