Men against boys really, hats off to them and move on.

that game isn't going to decide our fate, but millwall, Ipswich, Wigan, sheff wed, qpr, Brentford will go a long way towards.

take a bow Matthews - superb son and saved it being a land slide.

we should have played the same formation and with the same desire as Tuesday in a lot of games this season - and haven't - so if we go down - that is the reason.

only 1 person to blame for that........

Agree with every word. With just 1 exception, Brentford. They will rip us apart, they''ll be another preston as opposed to another Norwich. We aren't getting any points from the last 2 games but yes the other games will hopefully matter.

Leitner, who was brought on for 30 minutes, comeotleted more passes than any other Bolton player, for the full 90.

That stat, along with and endless list now are all reasons as to why Parky should piss off, he’s completely out of his depth in this league.

The players are shite, but there is no reason whatsoever for them to play this bad. One of their players comeptleted 140 passes today, 140. Parky would be disgusted if one of our players tried that many. We can’t manage 3.

Been out, had a few beers and I still can’t my head round what we tried,

this lot were mid table crap last year, sold Madison for £20M yet hardly spent a bean. They either have a fuckin good manager or pay top wages.

I have accepted we are not good enough to beat a number of teams over the years,

I WILL NEVER ACCEPT BWFC SURRENDERING. LIKE THEY DID TODAY

We will be lucky if we win another game we are as good as relegated while this useless manager is in charge. I am a ST holder and stopped going weeks ago my 2 mates who are also ST holders after today won't be going again .

All 3 of us been ST holders for years says it all really so do us a favour Parky and resign because sweaty ken is skint.

This is a club that gets 26k every week even if they are in div 1, they are at least twice as big as us and on the crest of a wave. I'd expect us to take 1.5k down there if we were top of div 1 never mind championship.

Getting beat 4 nowt by top of the league isn’t the issue.

its the lack of fight

go down, but go down having made them think they’ve earned it

today, all Norwich had to do was turn up.

At least be in their fucking faces and be 11 nasty cunts.

Unacceptable management. But we can’t shift him so let’s just move on eh?

I'm struggling to agree. Noone was busting a gut, the front 2 were, Ameobi put a real shift in, the defence did. Vela ran around but couldn't compete. We carried on battling even at 0-4 when we could have really folded.

Sorry but that’s happy clapping to me. Sure we put some effort in but our whole team st up, management downwards stunk of defeat before a ball was kicked.

love my club, can’t see much positive about it right now though and that hurts

Voice of reason in my opinion. A refreshing anecdote to hysterical reactions to defeats.

Aye. It wasn't a lack of effort, they were just much better than us. There's a small consolation that we improved slightly in the 2nd half rather than completely caving in.

I think we only improved in the second half because Norwich were taking it easy.

They are the only league tram in the county. The nearest one is fooking miles away. Their 'local' derby is against a team maybe 60 miles away

I used to work down there and they do draw support from all over the county, though found there is also a social element to going to the game and not just the football. May be because there isn't that much to do round there on a Saturday afternoon

That's a bit of a lazy explanation for why Norwich get 25k+ every week in the Championship to be honest (in fact we even did in League One).

As if people from Norfolk couldn't find "much to do" in a county surrounded by 90 miles of coastline and containing 200 kilometres of navigable (and fishable) waterways.... perhaps they could visit a city centre which keeps getting named as one of the cities top 10 shopping destinations, or perhaps the chaps could chance their arm at chatting up the latest posh totty at the student union of one of Norwich's two universities, or go and have a butchers at one of the two cathedrals in the city, or check out the castle museum, or check out one of the counties two zoo's... or spend the day at one of the counties 11 National trust properties.... or go and have a nosey at the countries largest seal colony. Or go and watched a show at one of Norwich's three theatres..... or spend less than a tenner on a train to Cambridge, or an hour and a half on the train to London.

In fact.... Great Yarmouth is full of Northerners whenever I go there (although personally I'd like us to give that bit of the county to Suffolk).

A pub for every day of the year and a church for every week of the year in Norwich. Imagine having a county with a population of 859,000 with nothing to do on a weekend. Unless you meant to say "they haven't got any rugby teams" which is definitely a valid point.... Northern teams do have to compete with rugby.

If it was as simple as that then you'd be able to tell me why we were getting crowds of 14,000 in the 90's..... and why Ipswich, also the only club in a similar size county, get gates similar to yours?

If you want the real reason its because we spent about 10 years selling season tickets to kids for a tenner, giving 1000 tickets to schools every home game, and ran constant kids for quid promotions in the late 90's and early 00's, reinventing ourselves as a community and family club. We were crap and skint (a bit like you right now, if I'm brutally honest), but we found a way to ensure that kids from Norwich bought Norwich shirts instead of Man Utd and Arsenal ones....

And now all those kids are adults and pay £500 a year for a season ticket, there's 20,000 season ticket holders. I'm in my thirties and like every other Norwich fan between the age of about 25 to 35 I spent my entire youth from the age of about 8 to 18 going to the footy for pretty much free..... think my season ticket was £12 until I was 15 and then £23 until I was 18..... so 50p a game and then £1 a game.

Now its over £500 a season.

That's why we've got gates of 25,000+ for the past 15 years.... because we made a serious effort to intentionally convert an entire generation of kids into Norwich fans. A bit like heroin dealers do when they give people their first hits for free.

But anyway, hope your club sorts itself out etc.... never nice to see a club struggling and having to worry about the future all the time, wouldn't even wish that on Ipswich (though a few years stuck in League One would be nice to see).

Don't really understand why you didn't start Ameobi when he caused us all sorts of problems at Carrow Road earlier just a couple of months ago?!? Might have had a game on our hands if we had him to think about from the start.... weren't that one 3-2? Everything went through Ameobi for you in that game!

ps. On topic.... we do usually take a few more to northern away fixtures than we did Saturday, but worth noting that we had Preston away midweek (Wednesday) so for the 'hardcore' away support two long trips to the same area in 4 days might have been a bit too much.

The away game before that was Leeds.

So that's three Northern away games in 14 days in February.... easy to see why the away attendance would suffer a bit in those circumstances. We sold our allocation of 2600 for Leeds at the start of the month (2nd February) and with that being the top two that was always going to be the game people prioritised.

Personally I'm always proper skint in January until payday because I get paid early in December for Christmas... so couldn't afford to do three Northern away fixtures in 15 days on the pay cheque which straightens me out. Did Leeds at the start of this month, will do Rotherham next month (another Northern game).

And I've been dodging Northern away games this year unless I've got a mate driving because I hate the coach for long distances so usually get the train.... Northern rail chaos has put me right off this season, striking every Saturday aren't they?

When we ripped league 1 (championship)up in 97 took 2k to Norwich, and week before taken slightly less to Ipswich

I'm sure you've been asked this before. But what do you think about the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre?

Fair play to Norwich as this has paid dividends to your regular fan base.  However, the bottom line for Bolton is that we are within 15 miles of the two Manchester clubs.
