Burndens Bogs
My 15 year old daughter first started showing an interest in the Whites 4 or 5 years ago, i took her to a few games + got her hooked. She wanted us to have a season ticket this season so i happily obliged. As we all know it's been a grim season so far, with defeat after defeat and lots of mind numbingly boring football. She said after Saturdays game against Preston that she'd had enough and sure enough her 2019 BWFC calendar was in her bedroom bin this morning. I've tried to explain to her that football is a cyclical thing and we'll be back one day, but she's adamant she isn't going to waste any more of her time watching the same bilge week after week. She's no longer pestering me to take her to away games. I know kids are fickle at that age, but i fear she's really had enough. - another young fan lost. This current regime are doing a great job of decimating our fan base and the way things are going i think we'll be lucky to sell 5,000 season tickets next season. bwfcfan5
Is it the current regime per se or the fact we haven't a pot to piss in at a time when the money has exploded in football generally. Even if we were say under a different owner with modest means and a different manager we'd still likely be bottom 6/8 in this league which is better than the current position but ultimately would be a grim watch without huge investment. Eavesy
When you watch what city did yesterday it’s on a different level. Infact I watched the league 1 and 2 goals show. Crewe fans looked like they had more enjoyment in a 30 second clip than we have had all season. Further to that we have absolutely no one in the team that young kids could latch on to. A zach clough or whoever.
marple whites
Try asking a youngster who their favorite player is - they have no idea. In fact, I don't even have one myself !!
snowball
No one said we will be an easy watch but all i want is the hope going into a game that we might just win, have a plan, a settled team , be able to string more than three forward passes together, at least create chances and not play for 0-0 every week. And have a manager who is not screaming at the goalkeeper to keep hold of the ball when a counter is on like parky saturday. Im not giving up on BWFC i see it as them giving up on the supporters they csn have my money but im not wasting my time till hes gone
radcliffe white
Sadly next season if this clown is in charge many many will drop off its bollocks about not having a pot to piss in just showing some fight like last season can go along way Mix mr anti football and midweek games more than likely my 2 tickets will be going
darrener
I made my youngest go to the game on Saturday he spent most of the time glaring at me while trying to get warm, after the game he said "if you think I'm coming against Norwich then think again!!!!" thanks parky

No point in being fed up when there is much more you can do and then watch a game on tv with your mates. May be different if we win a couple next year

Can’t believe I’m contemplating not going.
Traf
I'm done for the season at home now. I think there's only Millwall I'm available for and at present, I don't have any great urge to turn up.
leigh white
I started dragging my son all over the country when he turned 3 watching the whites, 30 years later he can't be bothered going anymore.
Mounts Kipper
It’s sad reading this thread we’re talking about dyed in the wool core support here, when you read that we might be cashing on Connell it really does begin to hit home how bad a state the club is in. I really fear for our club at the moment.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 11, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2019 Tried all sorts in the past with my lad. Taking one of his mates with us to make it more bearable. Not any more we're both out. I've just penned a letter to Ken, offering discounts for players to come and watch me cut grass and pull weeds. See how bored they get.... No st next year either, unless PP gone.
The Norpig
25+ years I've been season ticket holder but I can't stomach it anymore. I'm happy that I can't make it against Norwich. I'm seriously considering not renewing next season.
Piemon
Me and Junior are still in but i wont be renewing for us if PP and Ken are still in town next season.
DomRepWanderer
Be very interesting to see how ST sales go in the Summer, be lucky to see 6.000 sold, my mates and people sat around them have said a firm no to renewing if Parkinson is still around. I will renew and hopefully if we have new manager and owner then most will renew but as you say if it’s same owner/manager it’s a tough sell. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 11, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2019 If Ken or anyone at the club is seeing this, then surely it says we can't afford to keep him?
Site Supporter MickyD Posted February 11, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted February 11, 2019 (edited) Problem is, just as the Supporters Trust isn't the voice of all Bolton fans, neither is Wanderersways the voice of all season ticket holders. We can't have a go at the Supporters Trust for claiming they speak for us all if we then think a dozen or so folk responding on a thread speaks for all those who bought a season ticket. This site is usually fairly conservative with regard to PP. Other places and general folk you speak to are more anti them. 96% on the poll on here now want him out. For the club to assume this isn't a true reflection of opinion would be folly. Not that Ken will act though.

Correct social media, message boards etc aren’t a voice for anyone really. If any professional organisation had their thoughts altered by what was said online I’d class them as more fucking mental than the people writing it the results themselves tell him, the dwindling attendances tell him and the lowest season ticket sales in many a year will tell them all next season if they’re still here just read PPs comments about Saturday “are we a direct team? Are we a footballing side? I’d say we’re somewhere in the middle!” The Guy is a fucking Moon man. He needs sectioning the mad mad bastard

Some time ago the former said he'd give him a certain number of games. Not sure there's been any improvement since and he admits it's pants. In all fairness if he suddenly saw the light and gave us something to enjoy then who knows. It's just not going to happen though.

True enough it doesn't encompass everyone and their opinions but if enough are saying the same thing then maybe there's something in it. All that said, I agree that the evidence on the pitch speaks more loudly than forums.
