Anyway....can I have a lightly battered

Fuck off, just fuck off

I read a healthy eating article once. (I know! As if! :unknw:) It said lightly battered is actually worse for you that normal because the batter actually protects the fish from becoming infused with the oil. It then went on to say the best way to eat battered fish is full batter then open the batter parcel and just eat the flesh of the fish. Oh please! Do fuck off. That's like saying the healthiest way to drink guinness is to let it sit in the glass and not actually drink any of it.

Lightly battered - agree. If you're that worried about it then perhaps lay off the fish and chips full stop?

Its like when McDonalds did "salads" and tried to market themselves as "a place for ladies what lunch" until all the ladies were up in arms when they realised their "healthy" salads had dressings with more calories than a big mac.....IF YOU CARE DON'T GO TO A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!

Also - "I'm going vegan for a week" - FUCK OFF. "I'm having a vegetarian/pescetarian week" - NO!

Aldi cashiers, slow down Janice, Jeez!

no. thems the rules in Aldi, it's the people who try to pack their bags at the checkout

that's not how Aldi works

self scan checkouts are a pain at the best of times, but but people need to know their own limits

far too many look like they're taking part in a particulary tough mental challenge on the crystal maze, whilst I shout at them (in my head) what they actually should be doing

also, if you've done a big shop, take it to the the fucking manned till

aye, another one I came across recently on facebook, this woman said for the new year she was going to be semi vegetarian

what's that?

i'm not eating red meat

what about things like chicken and fish?

yes, will still eat them

so not semi vegetarian then

yes, it is because I'm not eating red meat

that's not how it works - if you eat a plate consisting of half meat, half veg, it doesn't make you half vegetarian.  neither does just having a cheese and onion sandwich for lunch if later on your have a chippy tea or go to KFC

Yep that one too. I know someone who claims to be vegetarian apart from "bacon sandwiches on a Sunday". FFS.
