Do I really care if my football club dies

If you do, you make the effort

If you don't get your arse there, you're just playing at it

There's a real chance the club as we know it dies on wednesday

Of course it is. It's a real nightmare

Your post was everything that the Trust and the Twitterdicks isn't about - BWFC vs self-interest

It was a great Churchillian rally-cry though. You have to admit that

A sound rallying cry that, supposed to be going on a stag do tomorrow, but fuck it. I will be in Harry's Bar instead at nine when it open's.

my 12 year old has only ever known BWFC as a struggling entity, but he's already a white to the core.

And that is in the face of a few years of serious temptations from the oil money down the road.

I've taught him right, and it needs saving for us, but mainly for him and his mates.

Pissing and whining on Twitter isn't, and never will be, "doing your bit"

My lad is 23 and we've been going to the match together since he was 3 or 4. It'. He's seen us at our peak. Wembley, Cardiff,  we saw Bolton away in Europe.

He's never lost any enthusiasm for his team despite the succession of shit managers and shit players we've endured recently. It's him who mithers for us to get another season ticket. It's him who persuades me to go to Swansea just because he's never been before.

I wonder if I'd have lost interest years ago... I think I may have done.

Same here my lad 14 only really remembers crap times I think if you mope around whine and moan rather than trying to be positive then it’s no surprise if your kid loses interest. He’s got couple of mates who are Wigan fans  and they’re in his ear at school about tomorrow, I’ll take a win tomorrow and loss in every other game that’s left.

My lad is 23 and still a loyal White despite living in the heart of Man Utd land which has always been a challenge that he has met with great resolve. He and his Utd mate are off to the Wigan game today
