Bit harsh re the goal, on another day it flicks away for a throw in or has a bit more behind it and goes for a goal kick. I’d be more inclined to point the finger at Beevers who was left in no man’s land and should have been a bit sharper to try and get a touch on the cross one way or another.

Only watched it on the video and probably is harsh

I'm chuffed to bits too. But I seriously can't see how anyone could pick Buckley over Noone. Workrate, crossing, shooting, 6 out of 10 for Noone, 3 for Buckley. As poor a 1st team player as I can recall since Trotter and Thorpe.

Buckley wore gloves today. I've been home for about six hours now and I'm still struggling to process that

Who cares what he wears

We had to win

We won

Move on

And picking up on something above, this lot do play for Parkinson

In fact, their togetherness and spirit is about all we have

This really is all that matters.

Buckley seems to be the new Trotter .

Hugely frustrating player & could have been a hero yesterday with decent finishing nevertheless more skillful than Noone imo & handicapped by a leftback who does not like to venture forward.

We all see things differently although I agree he is a bit of a tart.

It seems as if he's frightened of getting hurt. Always a bit reticent for me.

Think that's fair comment. Because of his injury problems I think it's at the back of his mind. He's a much better player than we have seen to date but it remains to be seen whether he will ever get back to previous performance levels at other clubs.
