Absolutely love it there

Moderators Casino Posted May 11, 2019 Moderators Share Posted May 11, 2019 Dunno why, but my dad was born in cromer I've only been once and the weather was grim, but could see that being a decent place to be Maybe rhosneigr on Anglesey Tbh, can't see me moving far, unless it's abroad
Dr Faustus
Hayle or St Ives; love that part of the country, so idyllic and home to at least three of my all time favourite boozers. Heading north, I’d go Port Patrick or Drummore near Stranraer, again breathtaking and a different pace of life

Brilliant beaches up that part of the world. When it's cold though, fuck me is cold, that wind comes straight off the North Sea

When he went back to work the next day to hand in his notice they made him a better job offer so he stayed up here. I often wonder which direction my life would have taken. jules_darby
Definitely coastal Dorset for me - Poole/Lilliput/Sandbanks is lovely. Get much better weather n all. I like a few places in N wales too - Conway, Nefyn, Absersoch. Couldn’t live there until retirement though. Not metropolitan enough for me at this age
ErnestTurnip
Beach and sea for me as well, probably South Wales as go there a lot on holiday and really like it. It's easy to be negative about Bolton but the centre and estates etc are the same everywhere and we are blessed with a lot of really nice surroundings that a lot of folk miss, get out on the West Lanky moors for example and they as nice as anything you will find in the UK. When I had the company based in Tyldesley, I spent many happy hours in Suffolk in many villages all around the Bury St. Edmunds area (one of our biggest clients was there and still is - Shelbourne Reynolds). Locals a bit odd until they get to know you and I ended up spending some great times in various pubs and hostelries is some very quaint little villages. Always liked it and have always thought that if we ever came back to Blighty, we would probably set up camp down there somewhere.
