Jesus Christ. 3 goalkeepers. Decided Jussi was past it (didnt he then have good few seasons in prem under Sam at West Ham?). Al Habsi (should have been our No1 choice after Jussi for many seasons sold to pie eaters for £4m and money spunked on Nemo Sordell) so we are left with fucking Bogwank! Any other keeper at Stoke and we stay up.

Cue Tadeusz Nobolitz to' prove 'ive remembered it all wrong

 Fuck off Coyle

Didn't like Jussi because he would ask "Gaffer - where's the corner and set piece plan for Saturday"...and Coyle would be more interested in organising the next table tennis tournament. Not a details man Owen.

Did anyone here Keith Andrews' comments a while ago?

He said as soon as he walked in, he thought "what have I done".

He reckoned discipline was poor and training weak.

I know the bloke's a tool, but it would make sense. It didn't stop him taking good money for being shit either.

lad I  know knew SKD and he told him training totally lacked any drills/tactics

it was all one touch 5 a side, keepy ups and table tennis

said the place got a lift after megson, but they soon realised he didn't bring anything to the table like set peice trainings and giving players specific jobs etc

whilst Marvin Sordell used to skip training so he could have piano lessons

Wasn't Al Habsi sold to fund us buying Ngog?

Didn't seem too ridiculous at the time. Little did we know Ngog would turn out to be so spineless.

Ngog wouldn't have replaced an overweight pidgeon let alone another professional footballer. Garbage that man was....

So what's been his excuse for being shit everywhere else after us?

He was shit before he came to us as well, his record at Liverpool was hardly prolific. I'm still amazed that Swansea thought he'd be a good signing from us.

I've just had a look, and amazingly he's still playing football.....albeit in The Hungarian leagues now

WTF you on about? He was garbage at Liverpool in their system. Remember Pinocchio Thompson raising an eyebrow when we bought him and basically saying well if you think hes gonna get goals for you...

Ngog was pathetically bad

Jules loved him if I remember correctly?

I kept hoping it would be his year. Bit like Vaz Te. He had ability and I stand by that, but as someone says above was spineless. Shame.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard and all that.

Was Eavesy that loved him.

I was sat no more than 5 yards behind Bogdan when Walters fouled him and the ref awarded Stoke the goal and even so we scrapped to find the winner that would have kept us up. Ream headed over from 6 yards and we were close on several occasions, but the draw meant we went down - couldn't have been much closer. Miserable journey back from the Britannia.

I thought we had good enough players to stay up that year, but Coyle never really found a consistent formula that he stuck with

I was front row right in the middle of the goal and to this day can’t believe that goal was given. After Megson, Coyle was a breath of fresh air, but that game pretty much summed up his reign - promising at times but petering out with a whimper

The list is certainly not good reading , if the list is written in the order of the fixtures though , it shows bar the opening 10 games , were the majority of did not plays occurred , Coyle pretty much learned his lesson . The substitutions it could be argued we were losing in 7 of the 9 matches anyway and Muamba certainly wasn't going to alter the attacking course of the game .

Theres also a 90 minutes to add to the list , a 3-0 loss to Chelsea. I still think if Muamba would have kept healthy we would have scraped enough points to stop up.

Casino is chilled

Coyles a cnut and needs to shut the fuck up

We can move the conversation on by looking at the team he left us

Just check out the shower of shite that played at millwall in his final game

Definitely, his signings were fucking dire , starting with them 2 twats from Burnley , never in a million years premier league standard.

I can only assume you have checked that, but it didn't feel like it to me

Nor to Muamba who makes the point in his book

Anyway, the fact he didn't start every game, if fit, was an utter disgrace

Your right , I think with Holden and Chungy missing , Coyle's incompetence was exposed and I don't think he had a clue what his best Midfield was .
