Like going into admin after you've gone down and taking the points deduction that season. It's no punishment If a player gets sent off on the last day of the season, doesn't their ban roll over to the next season? If the points deduction had come last season, we would've been punished - by finishing below Ipswich. It would've been interesting what would've happened the season before, with the Forest game... Coz the EFL are useless and will hammer us to shift any blame from them. We should have 3 points deducted from last season, history then shows we finished bottom and -12 start next year as per the clear rule no problem with that. Tough one. They shouldn't but then there are no powers available to the EFL to punish the outgoing owners. And if, for example, Wigan had failed to play their last game in similar circumstances I'd not want them to be able to avoid punishment simply by changing owners. I think personally that 12 points should be the maximum points deduction in any one season and that any further points deduction should be deferred into the next season. It would be ridiculous to start on -21 points for example and make a mockery of the league. But the EFL haven't got their rules in place. Useless. bolton va va
Another angle to our possible, further points deduction for not fulfilling our fixtures is...........some of the striking shithouses will probably be at rival div1 clubs next season & could therefore, possibly benefit from a further points deduction to us caused by their shithousery. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted May 31, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted May 31, 2019 If the league give us little/no punishment, that’s them admitting they cocked up with Anderson and his fit & proper test. They are too arrogant to admit to mistakes. FTEFL

Moderators Casino Posted June 1, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 1, 2019 Sorry mate, I agree I knew there would be a punishment But for it not to be clearly defined in the rules Ie level of punishment and when is piss poor Lets say bury had failed to play their game Punishment last season or next? I think there would be a consensus that it should be last How about you?

I think there would be a consensus that it should be last How about you? Difficult. I think if you apply the punishment to last season it wouldn’t of done any damage in reality. It could open up to more abusing. For example would Macclesfield and Bury have done similar if their seasons had petered out as ours did? With no threat of further punishment I suspect they would of followed suit.
