Underpants
I nominate Graham Souness. Pwopa midfield enforcer. Gattuso was cut from the same cloth. Tommy Hutchinson is my wild, wild card nomination. Loved his style in the 80s.

Benny Bear
In the 70's, Leeds Utd had a whole team who could handle themselves / dish it out, one to eleven. 1970 fa cup final. Fantastic. Just watch it on you-tube. Individual masters: Michael Brown, the dirtiest, most pointless player. Not even good. Some of the other hard men were good players Bremner, Souness, Dave Mackay etc. He wasn't.

I don't think he was. I remember a match at Leeds Road (Huddersfield for the youngsters) when he played and someone did get sent off for us, but for the life of me can't remember who it was.
