After much thinking and not much in the way of help, other than the occasional quip about the lad's predicament, we picked his legs and torso off the ground and turned him over so his ears were coming out the same way as they'd gone through the gap. As he was shouting the odds it was mentioned that he wasn't really in a position to be so demanding and that if he didn't shut his trap he'd end up with his pants around his ankles and the photos in the Bolton Evening News.
