Moderators Zico Posted July 3, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 3, 2019 I did this then when I went to cancel I got money off the next one and then a free upgrade to 10 cans per month as opposed to 8 still subscribing months later, tends to be a decent selection each month a case arriving today in fact

birch-chorley
Aye They make their money by making it hard to cancel Same with mobiles.co.uk Cheaper deals than you can get direct with the carrier (as they re invest their own commission in it) then you have to unsubscribe to the insurance and tech helpline which costs £20 a month
Moderators Zico Posted July 3, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 3, 2019 It isn't hard to cancel, I just liked what they offered to stay If you don't want another month with a discount or free upgrade, you can do one As it turns out I'm happy enough they persuaded me to stay There's another one, flavourly, gave them a whirl, didn't like the offering, so ignored their offers to stay, and left
Site Supporter Spider Posted July 3, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted July 3, 2019 £2.90 for a 330ml can? Sounds a bit steep that. Are they worth it? #PeasantAlert
stevieb
I did beer52 a few years ago for about 9 months. It's belting until you get a porter. Grim!

Think there was a thread on here the same as this. Like the idea but I’m too lazy to sort anything like that out. 3 bottles of moretti for £5.50 or 3 magners/bulmers for £5 in B.B. near me is too easy. I fucked it off and said I'll just buy craft beers myself. Only bought San Miguel in bulk or punk ipa since. I haven't got the hipster beard to be getting into the provenance of the ale I'm drinking. matty2094
Did the trial one just before Christmas. Wasn’t too bad but I think I’m too much of a creature of habit for it - I know what I like and I’d rather have them than try something new. Thoroughly enjoying Brewdog’s Elvis Juice at the minute

MancWanderer
That Beer52 advertises constantly on my learning to speak Spanish app all the time Was interested but can't get past Aldi's stuff at the moment Their Williams Brothers (?or whatever it's called?) craft lager and grapefruit IPA are just superb stuff to sup in the sun
mickbrown
There’s a new Brewdog place opened in Manchester. There isn’t a beer there under a fiver a pint. Walk to the boozer 100 yards down the road and you can get Punk for £4. Robbing gits.

Dark beer covers quite a range, I was weaned on mild (Tetley's) yet found black cat mild (moorhouses?) like drinking fur! Never was into stout, but could accommodate guiness more than some of the so called lighter porters etc.

Traf
I did Beer52 for a while, but seeing as I fucking hate grapefruit, I wasn't getting he best value for money and binned it. I had an account in my name and one in the wife's when they did a daft promotion a few yrs back. After I cancelled them, they carried on sending them for 4 more months, so I probably broke even after chucking the grapefruit one down the bog.
