I’ve told that story in the pub, him and his missus rubbing balloons on their jumpers then being told they’re doing it wrong and to use their hair. Met some fucking ace people home and away from on here and I genuinely think it's half of the match day experience for me. Ive liked a lot of those threads already posted but... Notable mentions go to meeting big E in guimaraes selling beach balls and not being able to shake him off since. Another fun one was meeting my mums new fella for the first time and realising he posted on here! Also gathering a load of Bolton shirts off here and donating to Goan orphans in India was ace because not one had a smile on their face! I’ve spent almost half my life with folk shouting “Jewels” at me at away games It confused my Dad for years as I obviously didn’t want to tell him “they’re my internet wends” Met a lot of good mates through this site and travelled to away games in Europe and more through it. Not being a yonner it definitely had a big impact in meeting fellow whites, and I brought Gumbo and the Marples along too. fair to say WW got me through my first job after uni; don’t have the time to be on it as much as I used to, but appreciate all the work by Happy and the mods.
