I said this months ago but I get the impression that parkie is the only person keeping this whole shit together. He's come unstuck this season and at the back end of last season too.

His tactics last season don't need bringing up again but I reckon he's the reason we only missed one game and not more last season.

Not saying he should be staying but he shouldn't be hounded out of town on a par with lennon /freedman

That Lad alongside zouma won anything thrown at him

But that lad in centre midfield

number 14.

class above him

James Weir. 24. Not one of the kids.

There are a number who could play quite a few games this season. But let’s not kid ourselves they need some senior players signing to form the backbone of a team.

Brockbank, Zouma, Edwards, Politic wouldn’t look out of place and some of the others can contribute for sure. But a few senior players will help them out. Hopefully. New ones. Not the striking wankers...

Time for bed. I 100% agree with bwfcfan5!

just a note to all our "fans" who didn't go today , why?

your club is on it's arse and needs our support.

no excuses  be at the next home game

Echo your sentiments, however, let's not be negative and point fingers. Encourage and be positive. Get a good feeling going rather than "you're a shitfan if you don't attend". Not aimed at you specifically. It's just summat that's creeping into WWays generally

We need support both home and away. Home for the money obviously but away as well to keep giving this group of players a lift and show them how much we appreciate them for pulling on the shirt and playing for us

Annoying isn’t it

but all I hear on my Facebook is all lads out for tranmere & Lincoln, fuck off and put some money into bwfc

There’s a few I know not there today for holiday reasons.

Personally, I’d rather not see the striking lot again. Any lapsed fans wanting to come back are more than welcome. Can hardly be called glory hunters. More just realising how close to losing it all we are.

id love to see 15k+ every home and enjoy the ride together with the kids and a few older heads to supplement them. Adrenaline won’t get them through 44 more games

I’ve been at a wedding in Somerset today. Wall-to-wall posh fuckers, first time I’ve missed the first home game in 35 years. Sounds like I missed a good cry.

Full credit to all those who turned out, and I know lads who’ve put in a rare appearance today, but I stand by my earlier suggestion that the turnout was piss poor.

Nice that the youth rose to the occasion in spite of absentee cunts like me.

Great day and so proud. Every young man that contributed deserves the towns respect.

I know the seniors have had it rough but it’s time for us to part ways. I can’t justify their decision even if it is to avoid injury they had no issues letting some other lads do it.

For me they are worse than Magennis because they saw how much it meant last week.

They don’t deserve a fuck off or any abuse because they are not worth it. I hope they all find new clubs and bore the tits off their supporters.

Really been impressed with Parkinson over these last few months

The ‘it needs sorting this week’ message on gmr and bwfc, was said with some passion

He hasnt criticised the seniors today (it would be the easy thing to do in the circumstances) but they may be back in the fold soon as the transfer windows has now closed

Pissed up but very happy and proud of my club

Dunno why but I always got the impression that 98% of people on here were east side and now for no good reason  i'm now thinking the bloke who gave a Divine Brown shout in WSL was Casino.

My mate meldrew used the divine brown line

Might've been him

Couldn’t just give him the credit, then?

He’s a hero for me.

And me

Anybody calling him anything else needs to take a long, hard, look at themselves

We must have had 30 players go on strike between St Mirren, Brentford and today.

Maybe we've been unlucky in recruiting a load of shirkers, or maybe they were/are doing what any pros would in their position?

I guess any new senior signings should be forced to deal with the same bullshit ours have for the last eight months. Only way to prove it

I'm kind of proud of the fans as well today. For years I've been hearing streams of abuse directed at various players, the manager, the owner (rightly so IMO) and a general sense of negativity both online and at the games I am still able to get to - possibly because expectations were high despite the club careering towards bankruptcy.

Now that sense of expectation has been removed, it's almost as if the monkey has been lifted off our backs and the outpouring of emotion and unwavering support for a bunch of kids has gone a long way to restoring my faith in our fanbase - and I only hope it lasts and that nobody ever forgets the feeling.

I still think we could do worse than what I was suggesting on the 1st August http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/89431-take-over/page/906/

(5th post down) but it is unlikely to happen, however the club has already made giant strides in the right direction in the two games since and it is absolutely wonderful to see fans getting behind the team and unlikely as it seems, the manager again.

A great day to be a Wanderer. Well done everybody especially those young lads who ran their hearts out for the club.
