The Water Rat is probably the closest from memory, and there's another one fairly close to that, can't remember the name but its on the main road from the town center to the course. There's a few pubs in the town center but that's a further 5/10 mins walk. Course is alright, quite small, probably similar size to Wetherby or Sedgefield. Easterby and Johnson have good records.
