Chris Custodiet
Really sorry to hear that Emma is leaving BWFC to become Man City's Women's Team's Comms Manager. Emma is another that will be hugely missed but good luck to her in her new role.
Happy Wanderer
Yes just but another person (behind the scenes) to leave the club. She will be missed and was a valued member.

Moderators Carlos Posted August 15, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 15, 2019 Her and Paul Holliday have had a thankless task over the last year or so. No more Sweaty Ken notes to put out.

And if PH is still with the club if or when the next lot take over, he'll have the unenviable task of trying to calm down new owners seething with rage at the distortion, misrepresentation and falsehood of the usual suspects. Traf
Irrespective of our current/recent turmoil, it would have been difficult job to turn down for her.

Traf
I think she'll get more career opportunities via role at a top flight (albeit ladies) team than she will at League 1 level.

Not having it The elite Women’s game in this country doesn’t get anywhere near the exposure of league 1 men’s. In a few years maybe.

If I'm correct in thinking of the industry that you're in you'll have seen cases of people taking a step sideways (maybe backwards as well) to be able to take much bigger steps forward in the future? Women's game on the up. Massives are leading lights. Do well and move over to the men's side. More chance of doing well than staying with us? jules_darby
All fair points but it’s not an obvious step up for me; I don’t doubt for one second that recent events will encourage her and others to look elsewhere that’s how it works
Mannyroader
Sad to say, but new owners will very likely to be looking to cut as much cost out of the business as possible. Starting point is nearly always staff and labour.
