I applaud all those who turned out today, but this continual shambles is doing untold damage to the football club. I think the young players should not be put through this anymore.

For the so called professionals involved in our administration you have my utter contemt. As an accountant who has been involved in Administrations ,they are horrible, but the longer the process the worse the outcome.

You are obviously a product of the nanny state

my grandson plays/trains 4/5 times a week

I have worked a full working week and most of my life from the age of 14

get a grip and grow a set

most of those kids are relishing the opportunity they’ve been given and calling off games for “duty of care” or the fact we’re potentially going to get walloped is futile

Did you lick road clean with your tongue?

Re the crowd, think Marc 505 alluded to the fact that there is a world of bolton fans outside our social media bubble.

Fellas my dad age had no idea If today’s match was going to be on or not. Postponing the other night probably knocked a few thousand off, no way folk were stumping up again.

The situation has made it harder to attend than any other match I can think off. No tickets, no st’s, print at home etc etc. It was never gonna be pretty today.

...it’ll get worse too if things don’t hurry the fuck up.

Way I see it  these young lads are just about keeping the club going.

Honestly think the league will hammer Bury,  if they survive.

Don't think us fighting amongst ourselves will help as when it gets sorted ( it has to doesn't it ) I'll be happy seeing anyone who wants to come along there.

Not stay away because you didn't come today.

I went as I could, not daft enough to think everybody could with what's gone on this week.

It’s hard watching those lads get beat really feel for them but they’ll learn from it. Can’t knock the effort again and Ipswich certainly didn’t need help from the officials.

When i was 16 i played for a team that got battered 6-0 and 7-0 by Oldham Athletic juniors. The most important lesson learned was that I wasn't good enough to make it in pro football. Not sure what good that lesson week in week out is going to do for BWFC.

I was at Wycombe, went to Coventry and today. Would’ve been there on Tuesday as well. Have travel/accommodation booked for Portsmouth and Lincoln, and I’ll do my best to make every home game.

I wont go as far as criticising us for low home attendances watching a team of kids concede 5+ every week mind. I’m loving the solidarity and lack of negativity from the stands, but it’s gonna be tough keeping this enthusiasm up every week, it really is.

not heard anyone talk about the game all week. Team. Ticket prices. Tiers open etc. None of it.

Everyone knew that if it was on we wouldn’t be competitive.

Can’t blame folk for not going. I’ve criticised state always in the past but this is beyond anything we’ve ever seen by a mile circumstantially; so why wouldn’t the crowd be lower than we’ve ever seen?

Lads n lasses we’ve been brow beaten for longer and with more shit without respite than any I can remember ever for any club. There’s a shelf life to even ardent supporters’ will and enthusiasm.

It’s not even dry cut about loyalty as folk don’t know who they are even being loyal too.

The word omnishambles must have been invented just for this.

Crowds shmowds; it matters very little right now. It’s what happens if we get taken over crowds wise that will be of importance. Take this for what it is

The good news is that it actually is darkest before the dawn.

I wouldn’t mind if the matches what’s a little bit competitive but It’s attack vs defend for the full match, in four matches in the league we’ve had one shot on target. I was there today & applaud everyone else who come today also. Very testing times this

Most of them kids playing for us won't make it as pros anyway, that's the nature of the beast and they will have seen loads of others already fall by the wayside so will know that.

Circumstances meant I took my youngest kids today who know nothing about football and aren't fans at all. The youngest girl who is 11 asked me if she could go next week and she said it was the anger and the middle aged men screaming and shouting and swearing she had enjoyed the most. Loved the feel and atmosphere apparently so thanks to the shouting middle aged men in WSL for inspiring her.

It’s getting to the stage where someone should put a time limit on this takeover, sort it before next game or liquidate/drop out of the league. If it happens and wherever we end up, I’ll be in.

EFL should be doing this as much as pain me to say they should be putting pressure on us, like they did with Bury to get a deal done. Hopefully then it might kick the admins arse into gear.

I thought the same earlier today. Most of us, I suspect, assumed the first match of the season would act as a deadline of sorts, but it didn't. Neither did the first home match of the season, and there have been numerous insistences that it has to be "this week" but it hasn't had to be.

If there are still shenanigans going on behind the scenes, an official deadline set by the EFL might be just what's needed to eventually bring things to a conclusion.

Your daughters comments really made me laugh, I'm glad she enjoyed herself.

I remember going to Burnden at a similar age , I was fascinated by the crowd around me, the bad language, the humour, the atmosphere.

Happy memories.
