There aren’t enough coppers, we all know that, but scum bags just aren’t afraid of them anymore. Lack of powers, lenient sentencing, etc, etc. We’ve gone way too far down the liberal path. I worry for my 82 year old mother living on her own. I worry for my 4 daughters/stepdaughters. I worry for Mrs Manc who not that long ago was chased in her car at high speed around Moston, Newton Heath, Harpurhey by a nut job with a record of serious violence. The problem is, lots of the good experienced ones have taken redundancy or left during the cuts so to get numbers up again means recruiting loads of inexperienced rookies. That means we have a less experienced police force and therefore less efficient. Copy that across social services, prisons, fire, probation services, ambulance, etc. Then think what those issues have on the NHS and we wonder why it can't cope despite the money chucked at it.
