Ands1 11
To be honest the choice of Managers at the moment is pretty good compared with what's been on offer last time the Bolton jobs been available. For me I'd be happy with nolan or hill, Reckon nolan might bring phil brown in as No 2 🤷♂️

SilentBob 17
Hill is 100% the sensible choice. More experience, plays a better style and has a decent record at lower levels. Nolan would have the fans behind him for longer, but he's not been around enough to properly see what he's about. Also wouldn't be long before people get tired of his style of football if his last jobs were anything to go by.

Burndens Bogs 515
I'd take Nolan or Hill. Might be better to watch under Hill.

Burndens Bogs 515
Good appointment, happy with that. No doubt Dave Flitty will be arriving shortly as his number 2. Both Bolton fellas and probably what we need right now. Edit - Just read the BN link and seen that DF is indeed confirmed as Hills number 2. It's where we're at right now and these 2 know the lower leagues inside out. Be reet, for now. Edited August 31, 2019 by Burndens Bogs

kent_white 1,242
Wanted Keith Hill when we appointed PP. Sure he plays attacking football which will make a refreshing change.
Blondi 119
We're in safe hands, Hill will keep us up! He plays more attractive football than some of our ex managers and he'll be great for our youngsters too.
Site Supporter burnden 184 Posted August 31, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 31, 2019 Not my first choice but gotta get fully behind him now , welcome to Bolton Wanderers Keith , biggest job you ever had .
Arrested development 56
Manning and his tin pot site posted Kevin Nolan had won the race, and then Keith hill was officially appointed 5 minutes later 😅😅
Site Supporter HomerJay 442 Posted August 31, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 31, 2019 Well happy with hill. He knows the players at lower levels. Knows how to work to budget and has a no nonsense approach from what I've seen. Onward and upward.

They wrote a whole article about how Hill had got it. They posted two tweets one saying Nolan then one saying Hill. But their article said Hill had it.
