freds dad
So instead of a Saturday trip on the train to a town known for its beer it may be a Tuesday night drive after work and late home. Marc505
Bit of a shitter this. Be a month without a game for me if it's off. Feels like pre season again!

Johnnyrotten
Burton will want to play when they realise it's their only chance to play us with no fit strikers.
Leyther_Matt
I’m away for this game so will be a bonus if it means I end up being able to go. Burton just gone 2-0 up against Bournemouth.
Breightmet Boy
A few fans will have to miss this game change and will be feeling a bit bitter I reckon.

Site Supporter MickyD Posted October 1, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted October 1, 2019 Problem being, a Saturday game becomes a Tuesday/Wednesday game.
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted October 1, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted October 1, 2019 What a waste of £30+ on a non-refundable advance ticket. If anyone fancies a day out in Burton or Brum - or anywhere in between let me know, you can have it for free

I know, it's a proper fuck up when this happens. I lost £90+ with the Bournemouth game a couple of years ago. Think you lost summat for the Scottish friendly postponement??? There is an option of about £1.50 for cancellation insurance but I'm not sure if they'd honour it for the footy.

That was actually within the window where goes weren't supposed to be moved, but I chased it up with the club and the EFL and got nowhere at all. Now very mindful of these things but makes it a bit of an arse when trying to get cheap trains. Just booked for Peterborough away but have done it as day returns (Manc-Nottingham, Nottingham-Peterborough) rather than the cheaper option of buying advance singles.* *I know it's the same price on the day but I wanted to reserve some seats, especially as Sheff Weds are at Forest that day
ZiggyStardust
I know its going to sound like sour grapish* , but why can't the kids be made to play ? Surely the EFL have set the precedent now. * I'm too lazy to lookup which team has the players out for International duty.

Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted October 1, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted October 1, 2019 Money isn’t really an issue with this, I just couldn’t believe 2 shit teams have enough international players to warrant a game being off. How many does it take these days for it to be off?
