Dr Faustus
https://www.eurocup-langenbochum.de/ The lad is playing in this in January, so looks like I'm missing whoever we play first week is new year. Peelyfeet, what gloves are keepers wearing? I've seen a few bare handed as grip isn't as much of an issue. Hoping he gets to work on his feet as he isn't as nimble compared to his outfield peers as he used to be.

A lot of the older goalies don't wear gloves, but strap their fingers up with tape instead, I think the theory is because the ball is small enough, they can grip it with one hand and get more control over the direction when they throw out. The younger goalies seem to wear normal goalie gloves, and use gloveglu for extra grip. If you haven't already, I'd definitely recommend getting some knee pads and elbow pads, especially if hes playing several games, diving on a hard court will be hard on him. futbolemotion.com have some good futsal stock - if he wants trainers, munich or joma are the best. I use futebolemotion, cannot pursuede him to use Spanish specialists though! I'm trying him with futsal gloves, pads on order, even if only play in the winter, they should last him a few years Cheers pal 👍

Most of the goalies and defenders wear Munich. Compared to normal footy trainers the toe and heel areas are a lot sturdier, and the sole has a much wider surface. They give better grip on a court, protect the toes from the harder ball, and the sturdy heel area is supposed to prevent ankle injuries. If you ever order any, the sizes are big, and it costs a bit to send back to Spain, so id print off the size guide first.
