MalcolmW
Started today in Glasgow. Finishes with a stage from Altrincham to Manchester next Saturday (14th). Basically it loops anticlockwise around Greater Manchester, with the final sprint point in Horwich around 2pm, finishing on Deansgate an hour later (maybe they are using bus lanes?). Prefer La Vuelta to be honest, sunny weather, tapas and cerveza as the cyclists whizz past.

Jol_BWFC
Aye, but these guys have to do 8 consecutive days of riding. Ironman competitors will (deservedly) be having a rest after this, their swim and run are done.
