Toby light. Should bring it back, weak session ales are the future.

When I was a Christmas Casual on the post in 1968 I was riding shotgun to a parcel delivery driver. The round included Walkers Brewery. The commissionaire gave tokens to visitors entitling the bearer to a pint of mild or a half of bitter in the canteen.

The bitter was miles better, hence the difference in allowance.

Good on you, it was a cracking pint back in the day brewed in Warrington.

Always had mild. Lovely when well kept.

We were well spoiled with the choice of what we had, mild or bitter, the decline of pubs now is really bad.

Correct, that run of pubs on that street leading into the town centre were buzzing when the mills in the area were open, just a shit show of fast food joints now.

Dark mild. When I stared boozing this was my drink of choice. Loved it. Then I found out I was allergic to it. Bollox, I had to change my drinking habit. Then a couple of years ago I saw it on draft and i was tempted by the dark side once again. For old times sake I risked the blotches and itchy skin for one more swig. fuckin shite! How the fuck did I like that shit?
