Oranjeboom , sold in the Amsterdam Bar Horwich and The Vulcan on Junction Road. Bloody awful. Only surpassed by Stones Bitter ( always gave me a banging head). from.the Aquarius Club . What a fine establishment that was.

I have an intense dislike for most things Queensland and definitely its fucking ale. Of the 'regular' beers, I reckon Victoria's Carlton Draught is the best down here. We have some right shite over here including Emu Export and Swan Draught. Fucking paint stripper.

I could only ever find that on tap in the South West apart from a short term trial in Blackpool where I got so pissed off it that I nearly lost an eye being jumped by tangerine twats near Bloomfield Road. Didn't feel a thing at the time - completely anaesthetised. Breaker was also a good drop but loved Colt 45.

Went through a phase of having just that on nights out, trying to look cultured like, but it didn't half result in some horror shites the day after. One from down here that isn't missed apparently is "shitty" Shipstones, guaranteed marmite stripes after a session on that, I'm told. Just don't see it anywhere now - probably due to the cost of replacing all glasses that everyone nicked. Or maybe white beer was just a fad, along with ice beer.
