Mounts Kipper
Don’t forget to claim back your 20% tax relief on any pension payments you’ve made this tax year.

Many companies operate Group Personal Pensions. Many higher rate taxpayers don't know that they can reclaim an extra 20%. If you are in that group, then you can go back up to 6 years If you don't do a tax return, then that could be you. There is, I think, a shortened form to do this, or you can call HMRC (best at 8.00am) If your company does Salary Exchange (nee Sacrifice) then the above doesn't apply Hope that helps, beats trotting up and down stairs! Ok pal thanks. I need to speak to them anyway at some point post the closing of the tax year this time round anyway and may well need to submit a tax return so will deal with it then. Not pressing and plenty more folk need to speak to them more than I do that’s for sure

Jol_BWFC
I haven’t looked at mine since the first couple of days’ tumble and will be steering clear for my own sanity. I’ve got 30 years before I retire, so today’s figures don’t really mean much in the grand scheme of things.

If it’s a managed scheme, it should have moved into the lowest risk category - cash and maybe bonds? So shouldn’t have been hit too hard. Fingers crossed for you.
