ianovit 11
Me and the missus plus friends went Fri - Mon Lincoln was excellent aside from the match being off but I did get to see England batter NZ in the guesthouse before going out on the lash.
Okocha10 46
Just had a look at Lincoln fixtures seeing when there next game is they don't play now till 7th December wtf haha, our game with them surely now should be re-arranged for the 30th on a Saturday this month since they have been knocked out the FA Cup. EFL & common sense words that don't go together though!

I'm not sure re-arranging a league game with less than 10 days notice would be considered common sense, particularly after the shenanigans in Lincoln on the afternoon of the postponed game. Forgot about them idiot's who wrecked that pub, would of thought the game being on a Saturday than rather than midweek would of suited both teams guessing policing that game now has ruined that idea

Is it really that difficult to arrange a game? Aren't cup replays arranged for about 10 or eleven days later? A potentially cold, wet, windy late November weekend might be more appealing to the police!
bolton va va 381
It might suit us to play them on the 30th since they are in a slump & had a player carted off last night......on the other hand, they could be rested as they don't play this weekend & it's a bit late to organise ( cheap ) travel. Assuming Blackpool beat Maidstone in the FA Cup, Saturday Jan 4th might be a better date.

It could have been 'provisionally' rearranged ahead of their FA Cup game. ie. discussions about scheduling the fixture for that weekend. Discussions with the EFL, each club, police, etc. Not difficult really.
radcliffewhite1 651
Don’t think the local constabulary would want it on a Saturday now

Lincoln's opponents on Jan 4th are Peterborough. They play Dover in 2nd round so good chance that we play Lincoln on the 4th.

Is that after a travel card deduction ? ...if not, that's definitely better than the original !!

Might have been a bit different if a couple of them were home games. 2 hours ago, Tonge moor green jacket said: Is it really that difficult to arrange a game? With the cup replays, replay plans are made when the draw is made so in reality you get much the same notice as the original draw. They could have done it with this game but as above there were three potential rearranged games so too many resources would be going in to what was at best a one in three chance for the respective clubs/coppers to host the game. Almost as if we made it piss it down and for their pitch to be shite, all as an elaborate plan so that we only needed to play them once we might have signed more players in early January. Nice to see the window only open for us. Didn't realize other clubs, like Lincoln wouldn't be able to strengthen.
