As stated, I personally found him to be a cnut of the highest order, a very nasty person who liked to ridicule and humiliate others. Think Col Kurtz in Apocalypse Now and you get my drift. Spoke to a few Rochdale supporters on Saturday in the Cemetary Pub after the game and quite honestly, they wouldn't hear a bad word about him. To many Rochdale fans, KH is the Messiah... still. Casino 2,368
I hear tales of our players not liking hill In fact, a few hate him They are generally not in the team Its how it works At least that's where I am at the moment Most of the loanees appeared keen to stay and I can't go off much more than that
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket 1,571 Posted January 15, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted January 15, 2020 Can understand players being frustrated if they're not playing, but 'hating' the manager seems strong. Surely more to it.

I want Hill to be the man to do the job for us but my stomachs churning thinking about it, I already know he is not what we need. I'm seeing no management skills at all from him, just desperation.

As we were saying though I reckon turnouts midweek at Blackpool, Shrewsbury and Burton could be interesting now. Nobody's going to judge us on away followings now. Blackpool brought about 300 to our place a few years ago in the championship, Derby brought about 500 when they were bottom of Prem (when Stelios scored) and Wolves brought less than 1k on a Saturday the season they went down to Div 1. I'm fairly sure we've never played a team as far adrift as we are, nobody can criticise if we decide not to go to any more aways.
Farnywhite 66
He did acknowledge in is interview that he knows some of the players aren’t good enough and it’s it’s job to organise them better . All the goals Last night we’re due to players not marking correctly and sloppy play just giving the ball away .

I don't like (hate is too strong a word for someone I've never met) Pearson from what I've seen of him but he's clearly a good football manager looking at his track record. My instinct with Hill is that I don't like him, and never liked him from schooldays (same age) through to his time at Rochdale. However, I'm thinking the reaction to him on here recently is OTT. We were always going down this season especially after the first six games, but Hill put together a side at the last minute that gave us a brief glimpse of hope, that our horrendous injury jinx quickly put paid to. I'm still getting behind Hill and hoping he may have some of that Pearson magic. This season was a free hit IMO, and this is the case more than ever.

KH was obnoxious and belittling. Afterwards one employee came to me and apologised and said KH was a total prick. Never forgot how unnecessarily unpleasant he was just for his own cheap thrill. Prepared to give him a chance like others but personally I think he is badly flawed in personality terms. That doesnt make good reading. I admit my initial excitement that he ticked all the boxes for our current situation is a thing of the past. Bridcutt repeatedly at centre back was no.1 reason, the bizarre treatment of Politic was no.2, his rants and personality disorder no.3, the nonsensical release of Chicksen and subsequent comments no.4 and last night's absolute farce at left back, with Boon nowhere to be seen, is no.5. I'm happy for him to spend the rest of the season either proving me wrong or digging his own grave.

Watford have a good squad of players who were under performing but have turned it around. Can't see many hating him Players buy into winning formulas. But we don't have that so it's not really comparable I doubt long term he is the answer but if he keeps them up then job done.

Johnnyrotten 270
We had Campo, Diouff, Anelka and Stelios playing that night and attendance was 17,014, so not much more than 16,000 of us. Amazing really how little our crowds have dropped in the last 12 years when you consider the scale of how far we have fallen and everything that's been thrown at us. ErnestTurnip 171
Bridcutt is kind of key in all this bullshit. KH has said he wants him but it's up to the player. Bridcutt has looked confused since his reinvention as a CB. Does Bridcutt have any faith in the KH vision or not?

I dunno, I think he’s saying that we’ve been both in different times. It can make sense and could apply to fundamental bad decision making in varying scenarios. problem is when it’s not going well he needs to be succinct and offer as little as possible I’ve been mulling this over and I think he may come across as uber confident but it could be a skin as his waffle is consistent with neurotics that over justify stuff. Especially when under pressure. There’s a lot of “extroverts” that do this. Could be wrong obvs.
