maaarsh
After 3 months carrying drinks with England even picking a spinner not even in the squad over him, Parkinson has been England's best bowler in both warm up games. Looking forward to watching him carry drinks again in the first ODI tomorrow...

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 9, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2020 Great bowling performance from England. Miller did well late on, but that's only to be expected as the overs run out. Great start with the bat too.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 12, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted February 12, 2020 Tossed that away. Curran knocks a 2, leaving a run a ball. So why try to clear the boundary the next ball? Ali too is experienced enough there. Some confused thinking.

When in reality Ali should have had a word with him and been the calming Influence

Can be brilliant, can be shit; doesn't come across as a 'thinker'.

bwfcfan5
Morgan takes a single instead of going big to get back on strike - run a ball - piece of piss, especially with how Morgan was playing. Then Curran tries to be a hero. Frustrating but reckon you gain experience from these things. WTF Denly is doing in this side is beyond me though. I'd look at the order though because whilst you want Buttler in the game early sometimes you also look down the order and see Stokes coming in late who is a player who often takes a few deliveries to really get going - he's not "whack it round straight away" usually. So Buttler who is the best finisher in the sport could be a floating option - Stokes should bat higher and Denly should go. I'd open with Bairstow and Roy like ODIs. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 13, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2020 No Denly for me neither. Decent shout for stokes and Buttler perhaps swapping.

Even when he got out we should have seen it home comfortably. So he takes blame but so do the others. Its about learning though.

Whether it was nerves or Geoff Boycott's "yewbris" who knows, but all of them ought to have been able to work it out.

Moderators Casino Posted February 16, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 16, 2020 Unbelievable stuff Again though, all hard work done, 3 needed from 7, why try hit another 6 But it's a bit shit to find fault with that hitting And there's something very pleasing about beating SA They don't take it well

It’s our one day/T20 brand Morgan has brought. Nearly killed us in the WC but I think it’s just how they are. Unbelievable chase.
