Accrington away

7-1 Against Accrington Stanley that will go down in history for the rest of our lives in shitty backwards villages near Blackburn.

The only thing we can possibly save face today is that we are the one and only wanderers and will always be bigger and better than any of this inbred shit from  the shite side of Lancashire.

Almost makes me glad that we're gtr Manchester.

Give over, don’t pack it in these things happen now and again. Keep the faith.

Sorry pal but from previous posts I know that you were there back in the day 70s/80’s. That was fine. You were up for it or you weren’t. You didn’t turn on your own. If you weren’t up for it, like me, you went one way and let the not rights go another. It was still a fucking great game

These days there’s too many binged up tools with a couple of pints inside them thinking it’s hilarious to fuck everything up for the majority. As said above, most who attended went and had a good time. Accy were ace at laying on a game and a good time for folk going to watch a game of footy.

But I’ll say it again. We have on overly large proportion of utter fucking bellends following us and I’ve had enough. I don’t go to games to have to endure those cunts

Do we know if there was more to the red card than just the shirt tug?

The way the Accy players surrounded the ref immediately suggested there was something more than we all could possibly have known.

Spitting? Something verbal?

Probably was a pen. Matthews should’ve saved. But other than that, 1-1 with 11v11 and we had a very interesting and exciting game. Not in anyway a 7-1 drubbing.

I was livid like most. Didn’t throw my toys out the pram though. Not sure where all the bottles came from.

As for the fixture irrespective of the final score - thought Accy put on a great show. Very accommodating - £1 a pint with a really good live band after the final whistle - many clubs could take a leaf out of their book.

And for my six penneth - managerial suicide not throwing a centre back on immediately after the red card. Damage limitation. Missed a trick.

Go on then Casino.Let us know what time you got home. I didn't get how at Accrington Station some folk (Anthill Mob amongst others) decided that via Todmorden and Manchester was the quick way.

I further didn't know how the fuck the 'via Toddy' lot decided that the 'via Blackburn' lot deserved to have bottles thrown at them.

Talk about white on white. Wankers!

That scenario at the station was 6 of one & half a dozen from the other! It was a farcical White on White that shouldn't happen. There was confusion over the crap being shouted across the rail lines, those on the Manc bound line was a mix of Walkden (because it was their train back) & various other location whites going back to Manc for more beers.

Those headed to Blackburn (to change to go to Bolton) I heard shouting how thick we were as we were on the wrong platform, those on the Manc line heard something about Blackburn & started kicking off! It was basically stupid, then things started getting chucked & got out of hand.

What I will say is... The lad flashing his Bolton calf tattoo off, then threatening individuals, about doing them in Harvesters at the next home game, needs to wind his neck in. Continueing to shout out the train Windows like Johnny hard balls, didn't help the situation. If he backs his threats up.... Salad gate 2.

He may also become very unstuck! I'll leave it at that

When I read your comment I was expecting an awful interview but it was one of his best.  Humble, realistic, determined, critical of the performance, not hiding behind the ridiculous sending off, giving hope that he knows what he needs to do to turn it around.  I think you need to explain what you mean.

I'll hold my hand up and say I'd had a drink when I posted and was more than a bit pissed off and what I heard was someone who just got beat 7-1 at Accrington Stanley trying to sound like a professor of the game and taking no responsibility for the performance.

I'll listen again later after my full English and see if I still hear the same and hopefully I'll have just been being a drama queen.

In shock. Sorry for you lads that made the trip.

We'll be back to winning ways next week. Writing it off as a blip.

Yeah same as me, obviously the players heads went down after our sending off and they caved in, we'll be back next week.

It's probably already been said but why the fuck did it take 20 mins to get Zouma on the pitch after the red card? Can't get my head around that decision.

Yes Zouma would be the most suitable candidate for making sure we went back to two recognised centre backs, but I don’t think he’s ever going to be considered to be the steadying influence that we were crying out for. Although in fairness it really should have been down to Wright to bring a bit of quality and experience to proceedings but he had a nightmare from start to finish.

Thing is, it was me shouting at mates from off here that they were probably going in the wrong direction but it wasn't those who retaliated. Dicks who can't take a day on the ale ought to think about not drinking. I'd say probably every white on white incident was caused by pissed up wankers who sniffed one too many barmaid's  aprons.

Couldn’t agree more.

I took my young son and daughter several seasons ago, they sadly had to witness this type of behaviour and they’ve never been back. They cried all the way home in the car, and the merest suggestion of taking them to a game now still upsets them.

One day, these moronic idiots may have children themselves and will then possibly understand the repercussions of their actions.....

But then again, that’s probably wishful thinking.

Just seen the red card on the ‘highlights’ it is an awful decision. Thought it was harsh live but even worse on there. Watched the game sober and do not let the red card gloss over the fact that we looked like conceding everytime a cross game in. That includes before the penalty and after the stupid idea of playing Bridcutt at the back.

Accrington 7 Bolton 1, not quite the worst League defeat.

Three 0-7, Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday, Manchester City, long ago.

But look at the names of those clubs. This was Accrington.  Stanley.  Finally realising this is the worst team talent wise in my lifetime. Perhaps shouldn't be surprised given the circumstances but fucking hell it hurts now. Yes we still have a club but what a state. All we have is us fans and i dont even like some of them. To all the decent ones who went and suffered yesterday  well done and try to keep the faith.

Well no actually, I'm older than that unfortunately.

My job isn't very well paid but as I've decent pensions it doesn't really matter as I'm comfortable with my savings.

As for my car, well I suppose it's getting on a bit now its maybe 7 years old but in very good condition, never missed a beat and flew through its test recently with no adviseries, one of the alloys is tatty, not kerbed or anything just a bit flakey.

I've asked my wife and she said she isn't having an affair behind my back, said she couldn't be arsed, she's a a grandma but still scrubs up ok when required and she has a well paid job which is nice.

My local isn't very local to my house but is full of spotty kids that think they are hard when they have had a tablet so no your right I don't really bother.

Shows how with a bit of effort how the day can be about more than just the football, BWFC should look at how Accy catered for supporters and adopt a similar format, it would also bring in much needed revenue.
