Emmanuel worked hard and with a bit more application someone could have got on the end of one of his corners and  Chickson had a decent game in what was a game of two poor sides today.

Credit to D Murphy for keeping his head up after a truly shit pen.

Onwards and upwards.

Murphy said it was a shit pen

I'll leave it there

He cant really say it was a great pen if he couldnt beat the keeper from 12 yards.  Put it this way, I've no problem with him taking the next one but would never give the ball to Madine.  I'm using that comparison because at first I thought it was similar to that miss v Forest but on seeing it again it was just a good save.

is there a worse team to play against 10 men than Bolton Wanderers?

only time we’ve looked like taking teams apart when the opponents have 10 men was when hierro was running the show.

every other time it feels like we have 1 less.

Exactly.  Under Parky we played 10 men v Walsall, Charlton, Oldham and failed to score whilst conceding 4 if I'm not mistaken so let's put today in perspective.

For me you play only one of Lowe or Bridcutt.

That's a really interesting one. Before Bridcutt's injury, I thought they worked well, Liam the bridge between defence and midfield, with Lowe free to go forward. Now, with Murphy looking like a footballer again, maybe the balance is off with all three. For me, Bridcutt and Lowe are our two best players, and we have to play them together whenever available.

We were poor today, with very little tooth before Verlinden came on. Far too many ineffective floated crosses throughout, easy for their defence. Don't give a toss though, we're on a roll!

Also, I didn't know MK had any fans, let alone those sad twats there today. I admit, after their antics after the penalty, I couldn't help but give it the biggun after Daryl made amends 🙃

Up the bastard whites!

Can we not judge today on today rather than chucking in red herrings

It was shit and it didn't get any better cos of the red card

It got better when verlinden got on the pitch

Not sure why he didn't start

Bridcutt was a class apart before his injury

He seemed poor, relatively,  today

For me lowe and Bridcutt have shown they can play together

The question, I guess, is whether Lowe can be crawford

Odd one that.

related - can stoke take him back anytime? New manager may want to give him a chance

Aye, not proud

But it was funny seeing white coat inconsolable

At that point, he should have just give it the shrug of shoulders and retreated gracefully

Bridcutt or Murphy for me.  Obviously Bridcutt has to play while we've got him, but Lowe is our long term captain and has been superb this season.  Murphy played his best game today but normally he would only play if Lowe or Bridcutt are unavailable.

Who plays instead of Murphy, then?

Probably because against Fleetwood he didnt beat a man all day and never put a cross in.  Really poor, on the back of other poor games.  Played great today when the game was stretched against 10 mn, but he's not going to play with that intensity for 90 minutes.  Surely it got better after the red card, we put loads of crosses in, had some shots on goal, forced a pen and scored a goal.  The first home game this season (this year?) when we've won the 2nd half.
