I know one thing, if we are within reach of safety by the turn of the year you'll probably have to unleash the site pessimists on to me to calm me down.

Would be a remarkable achievement to survive after we reached what must have been our nadir a few short months back.

Going off recent results and the games we have in hand, it’s not going down to the last match of the season, I reckon we can be in in the mix by March and relatively safe mid April.   Our team have only played about eight games together, they’re just about getting used to each other, once we get that proper consistency we’ll be fine.   I love the picture of Sharon celebrating our win on Saturday :)

Is it just me or does every victory this season feel like a quarter final or semi final win?

Players too, pal. There is definitely a 'feel good' factor again.

Players & fans stayed behind for mutual applause & it's great to see.

We're getting that siege mentality back & any success is enjoyed with relish.

I'm turning green Ste. We are a force to be reckoned with when the away vibe starts showing at home matches.

We’re getting there. All the players looked gutted with the pen miss but the winner was like we had won the league. Where’s the picture from?

She's an absolute breath of fresh air. Quiet, not looking for the limelight and undue publicity, obviously no mug and a sound business lady, but comes across as a really lovely person.

Chatting to the girls in the ticket office a while back, they all said how wonderful the new folk had been since they came in.

We have landed a good un this time I reckon. Long may she stay!

She's in the hotel regularly shazza pre match in with the fans which I like, wouldn't catch sweaty Ken doing any of this. On Saturday while I just come in the hotel, seen she was shouting down the stairs to her daughter having a go at her.  😂 Also dropped my season ticket other week & her son (Toby) think it is? picked up & give me back, legend already!

Aye, though that was never happening in the memory of man without the goal!

Before the game, and during it, I was saying this was a really pivotal game.  Lose it and its 2 home defeats running against "worse" sides, and over 2 and a half home games without really looking like scoring if we're honest.  Win it and its 3 consecutive league wins, 2 at home.  We're passed the stage of clapping the players off from 0-0 draws (Oxford, Blackpool), I really felt like their would have been boos for the first time this season if Murphy hadn't scored.  A thin dividing line, and we just got over it.  Onto the next one.  In 3 of the next 4 we'll be expected to win, certainly at least draw away and win at home.  A free hit at Posh in between but the other games will feel like we've blown it if we lose any.  A massive month on the pitch irrespective of points deductions.

I second that from what I've seen and heard and also from a long standing relatively senior employee who says what a great person she is to work for.  The point being if 6 months ago we'd said you can have either a multi millionairre from Russia or China, or Shazza and her colleagues who are just here to steady the ship financially and not to promise the earth, we would have all wanted the foreign investment.  Now I'm happy to take the gradual build, the safe hands, the absence of daft expectations and the absence of a dodgy dealer who could walk away at any moment.  We've really landed on our feet, touch wood and all that.

And without Sir Michael, I really don't think she could've pulled it off

He's the hero in all this

Serious question: do you think he would have become involved without a character such as Sharon?

He's said he's not involved daily, an investor behind the scenes. Of course how involvement is vital, for me though she's the driving force.
