Still a good race, though.

I think I’m with Cyrname as Ascot, but I’ve changed my mind three times this week already.

Altior v Cyrname could be a cracker. Think I fancy the latter.

Like Roksana in that. She’s had a run and doesn’t have much to find at the weights other than with Call Me Lord, who probably has a bit to prove.

I’ve gone for Bristol in the Betfair. Lostintranslation would have to be a Gold Cup winner to beat him, though that’s not to say he won’t be. Can’t have Frodon at this trip on this ground so would take Ballyoptic for the tricast.

I think Sykes is a big price for a consistent horse who always runs his race. Betfair are 33/1 paying six places.

Interesting to see what happens with altior now

Aye, not sure what we really learned yesterday, though I can’t have it he’s got a King George in him. He could probably win a Ryanair, but there’s not much point in that unless they think the Queen Mother is too sharp for him at 10yo.

2 singles and a double for Uncle Traf, my only bets of the day.

A rare highlight amongst a day of shit.

Geegeez sponsor the yard and the jockey, so there were other reasons for me wanting Jepeck to win.
