Ignore Rotherham, as the players hadn't even met other properly before that game, but we don't actually look any better now than we did against Oxford & Sunderland almost three months ago. Very poor v AFC Wimbledon, Accy, MK Dons & Plymouth in the last month. Injuries aren't helping, of course but we're certainly not improving tactically. Oxford performance was impressive. Unfortunately, the injuries we have I think are dictating a different approach, which isn't great on the eye but is pragmatic. Emanuel does have the right attitude, with athleticism and he is good going forward. The problem he does have he is not a defender and is not aware what is going on around him. He will get better and needs a good CB who can read the game to direct him. Injuries, sanctions etc. We are still counting the cost of sweaty ken. If he keeps us up he is better than all of the managers combined in the last 12 years combined (not hard I’ll grant you) Could be a massive turning point in our future this season!
