The efl doing us via the back door by doing a deal with the refs governing body? Or are they unilaterally shafting us? Or are they just garbage and we'll get a couple in our favour. Not really offensive comments but so obvious he is just copying what he has heard. Human nature you might say, but he's doing my head in the little twat. Or am I being unreasonable here. Also, the WSL linesman; what exactly is an ASSISTANT referee? I always assumes it was to assist the referee by being his eyes from a different angle. Members Rudy Posted January 1, 2020 Members Share Posted January 1, 2020 Referees in the champions league need to have a certain level of fitness. It’s the same as the Prem. Championship is slightly lower. L1,L2 isn’t as close as i think it should be. It should be the same at every level but that’s a different argument. My point is to keep up with key decisions you should in theory be fitter than the players. And they aren’t. My problem with today’s ref is he was so far off the pace there’s no way he could have been right in the mixer for key decisions.
