On the one hand “people need to stop comparing me to allardyce. Or Parkinson” literally no one had

“I keep getting told what we did the last time we were in league 1”

On the other hand, he doesn’t read the papers or social media. So who the fucks been telling him all this?

so far he’s talked a better game than he’s delivered. Started by saying “we were going to war blah blah” some of the showings over the last few weeks have waved the white flag

”the team needs to learn how I want them to work without the ball” conceded 19 goals in the last 8 league games...

I switched off from his interviews after about the 3rd one because he was making some bold claims and I thought this fella is going to be fucking brilliant or a lunatic

some way to go yet before he’s delivering anywhere near what he talks about

Wry smile from me when he discusses Chicksen being brave enough to play his last game as we don't want to base things on 6 month contracts and in the same game plays 2 players starting 6 month loans.

He’s clearly not been happy with him. Been in and out for a few weeks

obviously thinks we have / can get better. Not sure we have better or anything at all as I’ve no idea when Bunney is due back?

ive seen us have worse at LB in the last few years. So he must have something lined up

A lot of things hes saying at the moment are contradictory, hes probably confused himself.

He definitely reads Social Media

He definitely thinks hes a big cheese (not onions)

I am happy for him to build a squad for next season, young hungry players and an identity to how we play. But for me, hes got until October next season, if we aren't thereabouts in that shit league he is a gonner!

And in the meantime he's got to find a top young striker, because I cannot see Big Daz Murphy as part of his plans next season or Paul O'Grady.

I'm happier in the moments I actually think there us a joined up plan

Most of the time, I feel it's just chucked together on a whim

If Sharon and Emma are in on it, then I'll relax, but if he's being given free rein I'm not a happy bunny

What's the average wage per week in League Two?

I don't know the answer, but I'd be interested to know if it's above or below £2,000.

I don't know, but I would assume the majority of clubs in L2 cannot afford to shell out big bucks, I'm guessing they pay on average 2k a week.

I'm guessing based on their crowds, only Bradford, Plymouth and maybe Swindon because they are doing well attract anything decent.

It is claimed 1 - 1.5k a week average

I know we are told we are limited to 2 but whether that reduces on relegation I dunno

That lad, billy clark?, we had pre season who went to Plymouth and has just moved on, was offered 600 a week by us

Hill has never acheived anything higher than a promotion to League1 and failed at Barnsley.

Was unemployed when BWFC reached out and he claimed he'd have crawled over broken glass to get here. He has an excellent opportunity to raise his stock, but claiming that he's putting his neck & reputation on the line is bollocks.

Poundshop Mourinho trying to be clever.

I have the same sort of target. This & the summer transfer windows, then 3 monthsish into next season for players to settle in. At that point we don't have to be top of the league, I'm not expecting us to run away with it next season, but i would definitely expect us to be showing some sort of a plan & a clear improvement by then.

Yep, just cos the supposed limit is £2k, doesn’t mean that’s what we can afford to offer

If £600 is the sort of money we’re looking to pay players we will be non league within 5 years.

It's  genuinely shocking if that wage offer is true, there will be hundreds  of   season ticket holders on a bigger wage than the players. When Tranmere were relegated to Conference surely they'd be paying their strikers 31k a year

I'm sure there was a link a bit back to a report comparing 2014 wages to 30 years earlier.

In 1984 it was a linear progression from 4th tier to 1st, with the 4th tier average above - but not super-generously so - the national average wage. Then by the time you got to the top tier it was 3.5 times as big as the 4th. In 2014 it was 35 times as big; 10 times in 2nd tier. But the 4th tier wage was proportionally the same as in 1984.

Or summat
