Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted January 18, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted January 18, 2020 Today, I liked both Edwards and Lowe at centre half. Thought both looked very comfortable. Fleming was ok when he got going after 30 mins or so. Politic is a man. He’s ready for action and needs to play the 10 role, he was superb 2ndhalf. Hope Hamilton fancy’s L2, he looks a player. Dodoo I still think has a role up top. cant make my up about the rest. Some good things, some bad. I’m not convinced we are as bad as the position suggests, think it’s more collective lack of belief. For the good of the club, people like Luke Murphy, OGrady and maybe Matthews need to go in summer. Bring in a few lads used to at least not losing. I’m not having a go at them 3 either, just a mindset shift

No idea what you’ve seen About 15 games more than you this season? Seriously, hill said Chicksen left cos he wanted experienced players to play a part in our future I could look past that if the kid was special, but he's not

Wasn’t giving Southgate food for thought, but his distribution was decent, his positioning was usually solid, I would have liked to have kept in going into L2

He’s 20, played a handful of league games ever, barely trained with us, and walked into a basket case. Mind you I remember Steve Macanespie having a great debut too 🙈 Cov I think

Burndens Bogs
The left back played OK after a shaky start imo, Darcy was decent as was Hamilton, Toto did ok and JoDo put a shift in. Portsmouth are nowt special, i've seen 8 or 9 better sides this season. The usual bent EFL puppet of a ref. We showed some effort and kept going, i quite enjoyed the game in a strange sort of way and if we put the same effort in for the remainder of the season i'd be happy. If i hear fucking "Play up Pompey" one more time i'll top myself - footballs gayist chant.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 18, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted January 18, 2020 Another point about Fleming- did anyone else think their sub led with a forearm in that challenge late on? For me the little long haired shit had no intention of going to win it properly and floored him with the arm. A definite red for me.

Lost count of the amount of fouls he committed, took out politic loads of times. Their 22 was a dick but massively entertaining. From the El-hadj Diouf school of hate him in the opposition but a fan favourite if he plays for you
Site Supporter Spider Posted January 18, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted January 18, 2020 The ref, like many others, was fucking awful. In our position, such things matter and have a huge impact on the game. Honestly, he was dreadful, to the point where it’s no wonder theories develop about us being an EFL target. Team played well, Pompey were just a bit more savvy. Otherwise we matched them and lack only a cutting edge. Hill should probably be getting more out of the squad he has. He really need to start getting results because this lot are capable.

At least Keith recognised the issue and changed it.

Okocha10
Today shown again how much we have missed Crawford would of been a different game again if he played. This re-arrange game against Doncaster I have a feeling is going to be the game we get relegated to league two which is going take the piss even more after fans trying taking the piss out of them.
