Sheffield Wednesday flogging 10 year season tickets to try and avoid a similar fate.

What Sheffield have actually done is issue a ticket that is valid from start of next season until 10 years after they next return to the premier league https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51129422

Could be the last ticket those Wednesday fans ever buy - would certainly be for many on here if Bolton were to ever follow suit , assuming that is anyone is prepared to pay so much upfront.

How much money has been spent by the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, Middlesborough, Stoke, & QPR compared to what what other teams have, & try get away with it they deserve what they get, about time. We spent absolute fuck all in comparison to these teams, when you looked our team sheet when we was in the championship to what these teams had was night & day but somehow we was meant to compete with these teams. We always got victimised for spending to much money when spent literally nothing.

Derby are fighting the charge, and issued a strongly worded statement. The said the efl sanctioned the sale to the owner and at the price.

That maybe a legitimate argument, though the efl may say it doesn't alter things. Fuck knows what the result will be, but once again, there are questions over the rules, procedures, and effectiveness of the efl.

Think Sheff Wed are arguing the same thing that the EFL said it was all fine but then changed their mind

I did read that the Derby owner bought the stadium for £80m although it was registered as an asset at £40m or summat

Chatting to a  Wednesday fan the other week. He said they dodgy as fuck and he's fully expecting them to get hammered.

All these sponsorships deals with companies that don't trade that are all owned by the club owner.

One is a taxi firm that doesn't have any cars. Another is a drinks company that has never produced a drop.
