Its a tricky one

At the moment, we couldn't return and the 80% is very welcome

However, no 80% and I think it's likely our suppliers and customers go back more quickly

Especially if it's made clear manufacturing is expected to carry on

Money will run out sooner or later

Indeed

Which is why they need us foot soldiers back in

I honestly see it being at least six months before work at home types are getting their hands dirty

Just print more.

Or get rid of money all together.

I hope the government haven’t underestimated this virus in terms of helping out the country financially but it would be understandable if they did.
I sincerely hope there is a plan B if workers can’t go back after 12 weeks. People might have to suck it up and take any government issued job so we don’t go under.

And why we will be tested before the soft hands types

Tested? You don’t have it today. Not sure how that helps really. People go back to work mix some get it spread it and back and forth we go.

Testing is important to track the spread and understand who has it. Doesn’t help get us moving until enough have actually had it or had a vaccine.

So we’re going to get 30 new ventilators by the weekend.

When will we need them?

I nipped to Tesco this afternoon (Milk, Pasata and Lube), as i was joining the small queue i saw a lad loading up a car with 2 crates of Fosters and a couple of bags of shopping, his mate was driving and he asked him what was he doing after he gets home, his response was ...

"I'm off out, going round to see a couple mates to see off some of these tinnies"

We really do have a problem, the roads were busier than they should have been and lads were just cruising around. Until these fuckers learn to stop being fully fledged cnuts, this semi-Lockdown will turn into a full lockdown and it will go on a lot longer.

I've noticed busier roads today on my jog/walk as well, could be a coincidence but taking into account the information from government about car use today too... People bored of it already after less than 2 fucking weeks, mad.

Yes.

It was made clear at one of those briefings that manufacturing capacity isn't huge in this country for these machines.

Going to take time to get them producing them at a higher rate. That's why they're also looking abroad.

Lots of innovation suddenly springing up here, and collaboration.

Even the fashion sector looking to get involved.

Time to start celebrating what we are capable of for a change.

Hopefully, down the line we will once again have a bigger manufacturing base.

Anti body test is king,

If enough people have immunity then cogs can start being turned again.

I reckon years 10 and 5 will be the first back in school (exams next year), as soon as there are enough staff to man schools that have the antibody.

Current estimates is that 250k have the disease, I reckon its actually much higher, as a lot wont show any symptoms.

If that's the case,we will get back to normality quicker.

Ah, we’re operating a just in time methodology?

My mistake, crack on lads 😁

Would you trust civil servants to make them?

Or rely on companies with knowledge to do so?

Government has already said they'll buy what's available, I'd rather the first 30 be received immediately, than delivered later with the next 200 so that is looks better.

Other countries wanting them too remember.

No, we should have a million mothballed, just in case

Im just waiting for better weather, its a shitter, but i have books to read, programmes to catch up on, the internet, jobs around the house and garden and more...

God help if it happened 30 years ago, we would have been playing charades 24/7 and going stir crazy.

I've actually got more to do now than before, free gigs, articles, podcasts and quizzes coming out my ears!

Just feel like some are treating it like an extended bank holiday, dread to think what'll happen when the sun actually comes out.
