If anyone's interetsed - Sturgeon has produced a doc outlining how theyre going to release from lockdown

main point is

"We are likely to require that gathering in groups, for example in pubs or at public events, is banned or restricted for some time to come. And good hand hygiene and cough hygiene must become fundamental habits. We cannot afford to have exceptions.

Each one of us will have to adapt to this as the new normal, at least until we are sure that we can be more protected by a vaccine or treatment.

If, after easing any restrictions, the evidence tells us we are unable to contain the transmission of the virus then we will have to re-impose them, possibly returning to lockdown with little notice. While we will do our best to avoid this, it is possible that such a cycle may happen more than once until we reach a point when we have in place an effective vaccine"

I am.

There are many things that will have to change to enable a relaxation of the lockdown rules. Airlines have already said that the middle seat on planes will be left vacant. I can see restaurant’s having to reduce the number of tables and limiting to maybe 2 per table. Pubs will have to come up with similar arrangements if they want to open anytime before next year. Smaller shops will have to enforce similar procedures as supermarkets. Social distancing and probably masks will also continue for some time. Normality will not be what we are used to.

Agree and all of this and what jimmy krankie is proposing is just what I deem to common sense now. I see no other way of doing it and we need to be grateful for any freedoms of bits of normality that come our way for the foreseeable.

I cannot wait for restaurants to open. If I can only get out for a meal once a month rather than every week so be it. I will take it for now. It’s not going to be forever

I quite like the notion of having my own space as well in a pub. Would be bliss apart from days out with the boys of course

If I'm not mistaken she sits/has sat on these cobra jobs or some similar meeting amongst government bods.

All singing from the same song sheet, perhaps just in a different accent.

Easier to test it in Scotland with a less dense, smaller population..

Agree with the part where she pointed out, any relaxed rules need to be able to be tightened immediately if need be.. People are already taking the mickey

Positives?

The Uk's first vaccine trial took place. (Elisa Graneto) no zombies recorded as of 9.10

B and Q have reopened, meaning husbands up and down the country now have to think creatively why they can't do DIY jobs around the house.

A reporter who went missing in Wuhan, has reappeared..He deffo wasn't detained...

Virus testing has got to a point where essential workers can now get tested... Doris aged 64 can now get tested and all she has to do is travel 24 miles!

And there is talk that schools may return around the beginning of June Phased, if things continue.. Teachers up and down the country rejoice. In unrelated news.. wine sales have just risen...

Deaths compared to this time last week is pretty level, which although 763 deaths is grim, it's pointing towards light at the end of the tunnel.

I am still trying to work out why the missus hasn't been tested seeing as she is an ED nurse.

I can get a test booked from tomorrow apparently

But unless we are symptomatic, whats the point, really

Do you go every half hour?
