Thanks. If you read page 35 and under social contact In phase 2 it refers to expanding to one household. It was this I saw when I skim read it before.

but on that point that’s horrendous that phase two is one household possibly. Basically you and the missus need to agree one other household you will interact with in close proximity? That’s never going to work. Not a chance.

It's all a nonsense really though. Same with the idea that you should go for a walk with one parent in the morning and then another in the afternoon, even if they live together. Who's going to do that, and how could it have any effect on spreading the virus?

It's just arse-covering waffle, shrouding the real message which is Stay 2m Apart > Wash Your Hands > Crack On.

That was prime cross examination from Starmer.

It was but the bit about additional sectors being added to the construction and manufacturing are sectors that have never stopped:

"Sectors of the economy that are allowed to be open should be open, for example this includes food
production, construction, manufacturing, logistics, distribution and scientific research in
laboratories"

I see Sadiq Khan knows better than our scienceand medical advisers

One for @miamiwhite

I see that the Government are now agreeing with Khan and advising people to wear face masks on public transport. Shame it took them the best part of 4 weeks to get on board.

Thought it was cloth coverings/scarves etc and to leave masks where they are best needed In the NHS?

“Mask” was my lazy choice of words. He lobbied for the use of non-medical masks and facial coverings, such as bandanas and scarves.

Just caught a medical expert then on bbc saying whilst it may help stop someone spreading the virus still unsure about the validity of people without the virus wearing them.

as with everything the advice comes from

both sides of the spectrum. It’s just impossible to know which way to go

Quite possibly true, but with some people being asymptotic and others having caught the virus before the symptoms show, they may not know they have the virus. I guess the safe option is for everyone to wear them.

I would agree

one interesting point he made is people wearing them then feel more confident and don’t Social distance and because they are less aware of people around them per se and constantly moving the mask as they aren’t comfortable they actually outweigh the benefit of having them  and put themselves at more risk

its a minefield.

Sadiq Khan?

The same person who unilaterally reduced the capacity of the Tube, which led to more overcrowding? And, possibly, therefore, deaths?

Sadiq changes his views on things

He variusly advises, urges, wants them made compulsory etc. So, which of his views are they agreeing with?

He's just pushing an agenda, like Krankie, just after power.

I suppose that's understandable in politics

This is precisely what the expert was getting at.

No ones gonna adhere to it as one household and probably no one's gonna enforce it

Use your common sense.

Just restrict social interaction with other households unless you really have to and even then keep it outside.

Don't be a social butterfly visiting every man and his dog in your family for fathers day and you'll be reet.

We’ve been here before. He stated that he was running the maximum possible number of services that he was safely able to, given that 30% of the TfL staff were self isolating at the time. So (if that is to be believed) he didn’t unilaterally decide to reduce services - he was forced to by staff illness.
