Some sort of government quarantine facility if you will. Bojo went into a flat in number 11 iirc.

He is just an advisor at the end of the day. So would you expect any special provisions on that basis? Probably not

But yes, if he does have a son with Autism, it does throw some new light on the situation. But like everything, we dont know the full details, just what the media proclaim and some dodgy eye witness at bluebell castle apparently. I’m not standing by what Cummins did here don’t get me wrong, but I think it maybe gives a bit of context to boris’ decision. if it’s true that is

Have they had covid symptoms? Do their parents live 200 miles away? I bet there are examples of people who have used parents for childcare in various situations up down the country. not everyone’s situation is the same. I’m going home to look after my mum in reality. Sadly for me that’s a 230 miles drive. For my missus it would be a 5 miles drive if it was her mum. Not everyone is the same

Tombwfc
Won't even front up and say which bits of the story they think are untrue, which is pretty telling. I was expecting a full on Rafa style 'facts' presser with Google maps data and messages showing he'd never gone day tripping to a castle or back and forth up the country. Just have to take Boris's word for it I suppose. Edited May 24, 2020 by Tombwfc
frank_spencer
My autistic lad has spent a couple of days at a time with the in laws who live round the corner. He can be hard work so it's a mini break for me and the missus (who has her own issues going on). None of us have had any symptoms and he's been nowhere near my ill father or my poor mum who's been stuck inside with my dad. There's cock all chance I'd do a 4hr drive with no stops with him if I was full health nevermind suffering from covid symptoms Edited May 24, 2020 by frank_spencer

I think he should have walked based on what I know. Which is limited same as all of us. but if his child is autistic is adds another later to this. As per @frank_spencer post many many people are reliant upon parents or parents upon children in other situations. Unless we know all the facts we should reserve judgement. would anyone on here say that @frank_spencer has broken lockdown? I would guess not. I certainly wouldn’t. Because there is provision for situations like this. And the care of people is critical. Same as there are actually provisions for me to go and move in with my mum for a few days also. It’s the rules and I will be abiding by them.

It’s upto him as a parent to decide that. Nobody else. Now as I’ve said I’m not defending him. But anyone who’s saying he should have put his child front and center of this a defense is way off the mark and wrong. If he had done that what would those same people have screamed then? It would have served no purpose.

One of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen on here. Well done 👍🏼 That takes some fucking doing on that note away to watch some tele. Mind blowingly stupid and it’s nowhere near 77 million but that’s irrelevant but please try and be factual Edited May 24, 2020 by Escobarp
